We're coming to the end of our series and this final week, we're looking at the power of God that transforms. When we allow Jesus to become the ruler of our life, we see the impact of His presence to alter our identify and conform us to His image. We become the reflection of God the Father, in our day to day lives but even more, our ability to live comes from the one who dwells in us.

So much about the life of Jesus was counter-cultural for the times, but have you ever thought about what that means for you and I to emulate those pieces of God's character? When it comes to talking about God, do you ever feel the tension between God's love and His wrath? Some might say it's the balance between grace and truth. This Sunday, we're going to look at how the love of God is connected to his holiness.

Much of what we know of who God is, we learn by experiencing the story of Jesus relayed to us through God's Word and by way of stories of how individuals have come to know God during their life. We have a certain set of "go-to" words when it comes to describing who God is and how we relate to Him. This week, we're looking at one of the most common - God is Love.

As followers of Jesus, we are called to reflect the character of God but oftentimes our picture of Him gets a little blurry. This week, we're going to look at what makes God a generous God. When we get a clearer picture of Jesus, we start to see that God goes out of His way to pursue you and me, in a way that does not demand its own way.
