Have you ever known someone who loves to linger? There''s something about people who are intentional to slow down and spend time with you, when you need it most. If you've ever known someone like that, they can be a joy to be around. This Sunday, Pastor Kevin challenges us to reflect on John 15 and Jesus' words about our call to love others well. There are many things we invest in, but how often do we think strategically about what we pour our hearts into? As we begin 2023, let's take a look a closer look at a few areas and evaluate the impact these things can have on our life. This Sunday, Pastor Kevin will be preaching on God's Seeking Grace, and the way He continually pursues and initiates a relationship with us. Homecoming festivities are happening all weekend at MidAmerica Nazarene University, and we are looking forward to having MNU's worship choir lead us in both the first and second gatherings. Our new sermon series, 'Amazing', begins this Sunday. This series is based on the book, Way, Truth, Life, by David Busic. Join us as we consider the role God's grace has played in each of our lives. Pastor Kevin will share a familiar story from the Bible that paints a picture of God's great love for each of us.

As we wrap up our With Jesus series this week, Pastor Kevin will be talking about slowing down. Our hope is that you have been able to refocus this past month as we have worked to diminish the hurry in our lives. In today's world, with 24/7 access to fast food, grocery stores, and the world at our fingertips, it's odd when you find someone living an "unhurried life." The breakneck pace of life doesn't have to be normal. And what if we could slow down enough to notice Jesus with us?

We've come to the end of the book of Colossians! As Paul wraps up his message to the new believers in Colosse, lets pay close attention to the care he takes to assure the church about their future and to remind them to keep trusting God's faithfulness.
