Officially Underqualified

The boys look at the first round of the NRL pre season and discuss three big stories to come out of the NRL this week. The Super Bowl was played and won by the Kansas City Chiefs in a great game. The Waste Management Open was played this week in what Greg calls "the Major thats not a Major" Matt of course is appalled by this. The new Netflix Show "Full Swing" starts this week.

Episode 21 and the boys dive deep into the NRL Off Season and answer 5 burning questions. Manchester City find themselves neck deep in an investigation that could see them expelled from the Premier League. Arsenal lost which is amazing and Man United Win which is awesome.

We kick 2023 off with a bang. Matt and Greg discuss the NRL Off Season and how the Broncos and Eagles are shaping up. There is a heated debate about who is the number 1 fullback in the NRL.  Eddie Jones has been appointed the new Wallaby Coach and Matt has some thoughts on that as well as the new tackle rule set to rock the world of rugby.

The Socceroos run is over at FIFA 22 but what a ride it was. The final 8 teams have been decided and there are 4 very good matches to come. The boys give their underqualified opinion on what should transpire over the next couple of weeks in the Middle East. We touch on golf but on a more personal level and find out if Greg really hates golf or is it just a phase.

It's all FIFA World Cup this week as the Socceroos do us all proud and move into the round of 16 against the odds. Two great wins against Tunisia and Denmark cement them as one of the form teams of the tournament (Maybe hahah??). Greg had a great week last week with our man Mitch at the Aussie PGA, it was Greg's first time as a looper and he had an absolute ball.

The inevitable Australian victory at the RLWC with realised with a comprehensive win over a strong Samoan team. The Kangaroos never really looked in trouble and ran away with a 30-10 victory. It was a busy weekend for sport with the Kangaroos securing a place in the RLWC final in a tight one against our Tasman Sea neighbours. In an absolute boil over Samoa knocks over the Poms in a Golden Point thriller that was actually the best game of the tournament. Couple of upsets in the EPL, Greg gloats about Arsenal and the boys sort of agree on a couple points of contention.

It's been a long week for the team at OUQ and Greg is feeling the pinch. Lucky for him his shining light of positivity (Matt) will cheer him up. We have had an argument put forward from a avid listener to be a guest on the show, this sparks a heated debate that could define the show moving forward. Matt and Greg are back in the Panic Room after a brief hiatus and they pick up where they left off. Plenty of banter and a tonne of hate around the state of sport at the moment. An invisible T20 World Cup that even the Australian public is ignoring and the ACB can't be bothered marketing. The RLWC is starting to get to the pointy end and will Mal Meninga make the right selections for the finals?

With the first games of the RLWC under the belt we talk about the next round of games and have a little flutter. Greg is heartbroken as his beloved LIV Golf overlooks his home course of Sanctuary Cove and settles on Adelaide as its first Australian destination. Manly are in a free fall and will they be able to keep the players they have once they appoint their new coach?

We talk everything World Cup in episode 10 in our first "Oner" We have a crack at doing the show without any edits, this is pure unedited bullshit, every word of it. There is plenty happening in the world of sport even though the NRL season has been and gone. How many fans will be excited as we push forward with our live stream coming up? Only time will tell.

The Battle of the West shapes up as a monumental battle for NRL supremacy and Greg and Matt have plenty to throw into the mix. It was amazing to see the Rabbitohs get trounced and especially after leading 12-0 early in the game. In the latest episode the boys get heated whilst discussing the motives of golfers in the LIV/PGA War. We ban Ronnie for life from the podcast after his beloved Raiders give up without a whimper. We also talk a little life and also how Greg has bees in his backyard .... very exciting 

Another cracking episode as the boys discuss a great round of semi final footy in the NRL. There were some great performances and an especially poor performance from The Bunker in the Roosters/Rabbits game. Ronnie will tell us a little about the estimating game and how his business can help tradies take their business to the next level.

After a production mishap we missed a week and now we are releasing episode 5.5 to the world. With our first special guest we put Jordon through the ringer. He talks about his business Smoko Design Co and his love for sport, which runs very very deep.

In Episode 4 the boys are pumped up after picking the perfect round in the NRL. They discuss the round that was and the concerns about the blow outs in the NRL. Are there too many teams in the competition and are there enough players to service a 17th team. Who will Cameron Munster choose - The Storm, Dolphins and Tigers all throw their hats into the ring. Episode 3 sees the boys discuss the latest round of the NRL as well as the first round of the Fed Cup Playoffs. Matt makes some very good points which Greg acknowledges (amazing) And we discuss the sad news about Paul Green. 

Well we made episode 2 of Officially Under Qualified and to say that both Greg and Matt are surprised is an understatement. The boys will discuss the last fortnight in sports and no doubt disagree on everything.
