Officially Underqualified

What a ride the Matilda's took the whole country on, falling to the old foe in the Semi Final is heartbreaking. Did they over achieve or was this result expected. This Women's World Cup has been an incredible event but what does this mean for Australia for hosting a mens World Cup?

Big week this week, The Matilda's are into the last 8, The EPL is starting this weekend and Greg cries about unfair it is that Arsenal can't win. Some strange things are happening in the NRL and the judiciary, again.

Jammed packed show this week with a heated discussion on the hypocrisy of the Ashes and how it feels good to retain the little urn. The Women's World Cup is in full swing and there is some very impressive football being played. It's getting interesting in the $100 stakes with the Raiders having a late season meltdown and the Eagles getting 2 in a row. 

Huge week of sport this week, almost too much to keep up with. The Ashes have been retained and it couldn't have been in a sweeter way. All hail the rain gods! Brian Harmon ran away with The Open and if you don't think he looks like Ricky Ponting you can get stuffed. Greg has a few opinions that we all should ignore and he suffers from a bout of hay fever mid show that makes for amazing podcasting...

The boys dive into the business end of the NRL but there is plenty to talk about off the field. The Sharks have confirmed their flat track bully status after being flogged by the Warriors. It's a big week of sports with The Open and the fourth Ashes test, we chat about it all. The tipping comp is getting to the pointy end and Matt is still shocking, Greg is on the move though.

The Blues avoid a sweep in game 3 but has Fittler done enough to avoid the sack? There are many Blues fan that hope he hasn't but time will tell. Cam Smith goes Wire to Wire in the latest instalment of LIV GOLF (Yawn). Dan Ricciardo finds himself behind the wheel of an F1 car and sooner than expected.

The Ashes has become very interesting with the whole spirit of cricket debate, in the end we are 2-0 up so who cares. Freddie Fittler has made 7 changes in what can only be described as a panic move for Origin 3. It won't matter if he wins or loses he should be moved on. The CBA for the NRL is in the spotlight and the last round of the NRL was a blowoutathon.

An interesting week around the traps and plenty to talk about. Ben Hunt is top of the pops and where he finishes out this season is anyone's guess. One wanna expert thinks its the Bronco's but time will tell. We will also discuss the "Romey" debacle, Des getting another NRL gig and what could be the worst spending spree in NRL history.

A proud Queenslander, Greg is very keen to discuss this weeks State of Origin game and gives the boys an insight into what might be happening in the Maroons camp.  From facing the most fearsome Windies attack to now playing golf with his wife and daughter, "The Cat" lets us inside...

A good man always pays his debts and Matt gets down and dirty with 50 push ups. We could have spent a whole episode on this athletic achievement but we didn't. The boys speak Origin and who the Tigers managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat. The Block party at the PGA may have even warmed Matt's heart and it was a LIV victory with Brooks just too good.

It's a good time of the year with Origin on the horizon and today we will some apparent "experts" teams and see if we can improve them. Greg is in a mood after losing his car key and Matt dodges the push ups for another week. The battle for supremacy between the Raiders and Eagles will happen this weekend. Who will be better off in the battle for the $100.

Magic Round has is in the rear view for another year and Brisbane really turned it on. Some great footy, some bad footy and some wild weather was the order of the weekend. The NZ Warrior's call "Cheat" on the NRL and may just have a case to an answer for. Man United are doing their best to slide out of the top 4 and we also discuss the best job in the world, being Daniel Ricciardo.

After what can only be described as a pretty average NRL round we tackle a few of the bigger issues.  Is Campbell Graham the best centre in the game and will he get a blue jersey this year?  Should a guy who has signed a $500 million contract slide head first into third base? This week we are flipping the script and diving headlong into the week that was the NRL first up. Jack Wighton and Souths have pulled off a massive coup with him committing to a three year contract. The hip drop rears its ugly head, again, Aaron Rogers gets traded to the Jets and Man City all but seal the premier league title live on the podcast.

Episode 31  Round 7 of the NRL saw the real Manly Sea Eagles finally stand up and give it to the Melbourne Storm. The Broncos win this years first version of the Sth QLD derby and the Sin Bin rears its ugly heads on many occasions.  Matt and Greg discuss LIV Golf and its first Australian tournament, how it will be received down under is yet to be determined.

An incredible weekend all round, Easter Long Weekend, The Masters and Round 6 of the NRL. John Rahm put on an absolute clinic to win his first Masters by four shots, while Brooks Koepka could only watch it unfold in front of him. LIV wins this battle with 3 out the first 5 places, will this be par for the course moving forward?  An interesting round of footy this week with plenty of talking points...

Greg is back after a week of R&R and is chomping at the bit to talk a bit of sport. Matt is at his hating best and has plenty to complain about after another pathetic Manly performance. This week the boys recap the huge event that was the GC Rugby League Masters held last week at Runaway Bay. A great time was had by all the teams attending and already the 2024 event is shaping up as bigger and better. Round two of the NRL is in the rearview and its an interesting ladder.
