There are some who have gifts given by God to lead the church. However, they can't do it all. Every Christian needs to all in with their gifts, and be 100% on board, ready to join God where He is at work.

Peter and John are used for a miraculous healing of the lame man walking and this not only shows us the power of the Holy Spirit, but also addresses sickness, suffering, and how we should apply that love and grace to those who are hurting.

The first church was not a perfect church, but we are here today because God continued to work in the mix and the church prospered. Studying this passage in Acts 2 shows us how the church takes shape through the actions of the Apostles.
