As America celebrated it's 200th birthday, the people of our great nation commemorated the event the only way they knew how: By getting divorced. This week, Andrew and Dan look back at a classic divorce anthem of the 1970s written and performed by the short king himself, Paul Simon, which topped the charts this week.

Long before she was an American Idol judge, Paula Abdul was best known for being a chart-topping pop star in a suspected romantic relationship with a cartoon cat. This week, Andrew and Dan dig into that sordid history and finalize their first (and only) episode of MC Skat Kat: Origins.

Not even George Orwell could have predicted that this jaunty, John Popper-esque single from a group of New Wave brits would top the charts in the mid-80s. This week, Andrew and Dan look at how it got there. (Also, to be honest, we talk about the Oscar nominations for 30 minutes)

This week, Andrew and Dan learn about how he got some help from a new friend named Lionel who was looking to branch out into pop music. Tis the season of friendship after all!

They're a year late on the sea shanty craze, but in this special episode of Number Two With A Bullet, Andrew and Dan are finally venturing out onto the high sea of Lake Superior with Canada's own Gordie Lightfoot. It's a story song based on real events! So if you're not careful, you just might learn something!

This week, Andrew and Dan are returning to the cinema! Specifically to discuss the titular song from a 1967 Sidney Poitier drama and whether or not it's problematic to manage a 15-year-old Scottish pop star.
