Gather up, Novel Lovers, as Bea and Freya tackle SenYinLu's debut novel, Alchemised. This is the first of two episodes dedicated to the deep, dark, dystopian layers of this masterfully written tome.

Choices matter. In this book, The Night We Met by Abby Jimenez, the person Larissa chooses to take a ride home with one evening after a concert sets her love life on a certain trajectory.  Let's just say it is one bumpy ride, but true to a more typical romance form, there is a happy ending. 

This dystopian romance is a very dark, slow burn. The system serves only its head and to what end? To be honest, we think this phenomenal author is just getting started and we can't wait to follow along to see what happens next!
