The majority of believers feel that they have done their part by believing in and worshipping Christ. But, as believers, what we have experienced brings us the privilege of sharing with others a lifechanging message.

It is amazing what God can do through a church or group of believers who commit themselves to partner for His purpose. God’s people have an opportunity to rebuild the Temple which God arranged through a pagan king. The only question left is whether they are willing to follow God’s plan to get the task done.

God has called all of His children to be ministers of His grace and goodness. Our vision of our field of service limits how widely God can bless others through us. Jabez knew the work God had done in his life and asked God to allow him an opportunity to be a blessing to many.

The Christmas story is one that everyone assumes they know. People can tell you it’s something about a virgin, a babe in a manger and some shepherds or wise men or kings, but there is so much more to the Christmas story. When we are able to see things from God’s point of view the story becomes greater still.

Maybe you have had the experience of trying to buy for someone who has everything. The Wise Men in this story faced that same question - What do you give a King? These men had each chosen a special gift fit for a King, but it seemed the king they found was not what they expected.
