With or without you, Jesus is coming, and Heaven is waiting.

We become servants so that the name above all names is glorified and exalted. So that everyone will come to faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord. So that God the Father will be glorified.

Remember, having something brings absolute freedom, ease of mind/peace, irreversible certainty/assurance, and a promise of unfailing renewal. No matter what you’ve done yesterday, today, or tomorrow, in Christ, you can access these blessings that come with redemption and forgiveness.

If there’s one thing life has taught me, it’s that trusting the Lord is not a lesson we graduate from, but it’s a lifelong class we attend daily. In James 3, God reminds us that trust is proven not just in what we believe, but in how we speak, lead, and live. Today, we’re going to look at a few final truths about the calling and service of a deacon, as well as other leaders within the church.

The remarkable story of Mordecai returning to the King’s service after receiving honor from the very King under whom Haman had plotted to kill him reminds us that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it.

O Lord, I want to be like Him. God, help me to be more like Him every day. I know that I am not what I need to be, but I am seeking Your word and trying to be like Your Beloved Son, who gave His life for me. Father, bless Him! Bless the name of Jesus because it is by this name that I am blessed, chosen, predestined unto adoption, and have been accepted into Your presence.

In 1 Timothy 4, Paul encourages us to prioritize godliness over physical pursuits! While exercise is great, spiritual growth brings lasting value and leads us to holiness! Let us remember that faithfulness in our spiritual journey is crucial, as it involves teaching truth and living out our beliefs with joy! 

Prayer can take the helpless and the hopeless into a place of forgiveness and healing.

In the longest sentence we will read in Ephesians, Paul attempts to lay out the blessings of the believer that are found in Christ. To write out each blessing or try to cover them all in detail would require a significant amount of time. We will examine each blessing over the next few weeks.

The Lord makes things widen when we feel like they are closing in and becoming tighter.

There are more reasons to praise the Lord of Grace than there are attacks not to. We should let our praise unto His glory be as one sentence that doesn’t stop, with commas and conjunctions that continue the praise of God. Our praise should be like a waterfall, whose sounds are produced from the source and the strength of the water flowing from above.

Anything that hinders our communication with God is an obstacle to prayer.

God is not passive about the lost, but rather He is compassionate. He is searching, sweeping, and waiting with arms open wide. And when one sinner repents, all of Heaven celebrates.

In weakness, fearfulness, and brokenness, the strength of the Lord is made known.

Our hearts, in a sense, act as mirrors, reflecting the similarities between us. When the opportunity arises, we should be willing to extend a helping hand.

When we think of our health, we check our pulse; when we think about our faith, we must check the pulse of our spiritual lives and evaluate the results.

What if the perfect life is far simpler than we think, and the Bible has already told us what it looks like?
