Lord, fit my life for the altar, fit my life for purity and holiness, fit my life with evidence of Your salvation, fit and fill my life with Your Spirit so that others may see You.

May our walk, our words, our homes, and our habits point clearly, not to the image of a broken world, but to the living image of God’s grace, our Lord Jesus Christ. 

There are more reasons to praise the Lord of Grace than there are attacks not to. We should let our praise unto His glory be as one sentence that doesn’t stop, with commas and conjunctions that continue the praise of God. Our praise should be like a waterfall, whose sounds are produced from the source and the strength of the water flowing from above.

Christ’s death and resurrection give believers a victory that is promised, proven, and present. At the Cross, our sin was judged, and at the empty tomb, death was defeated. Because Jesus lives, we have hope now and forever, and we can stand firm and abound in His work with gratitude, knowing our labor is never in vain.

Believer! Lift your heads and walk with purpose, power, and perfection, like a Swiss Army knife, in the progress of God’s plan. From the beginning of your lives, there is a line drawn. It is drawn toward a destination, and that destination is God’s presence. In life, there are many intersections that this line comes to, but it's not a stopping point. “Gratitude Points to Christ” teaches that gratitude helps us see God’s greatness more clearly. From 1 Thessalonians 5:16 -18, we’re called to rejoice, pray, and give thanks in all things. When we do, our lives align with Christ and reflect His light to the world.

God’s power is boundless, His purpose is infinite, and His glory is eternal! So, join me, as I join Paul and all the hosts of Heaven as we say, “To God be the glory!”

Gratitude is more than a feeling or holiday; it’s a heart rooted in Christ. True thankfulness flows from God’s unchanging grace, leading us to live with faith, humility, and worship.

The mystery of the church was never meant to remain hidden. It was revealed by God to display His unmatched love and His eternal purpose in Christ. From the throne room of Heaven to the dust of the earth, God has made known the riches of His grace, salvation offered freely to all people through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Chapter 3 comes in the center of the Book of Ephesians, and it pauses the flow to explain something deeper: Paul has received from God a special revelation or understanding about the New Testament church. Something that even the Jews couldn’t see, and the Gentiles couldn’t fully understand.

Through the cross, Jesus has broken down every wall, not just between Jew and Gentile, but between God and man. He took people who had no covenant and made them part of His household. He took strangers and made them sons and daughters.

In 2 Timothy 4, Paul, facing death, tells Timothy he has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith, urging believers to stay true, endure hardship, and look forward to the crown of righteousness promised to all who love Christ’s appearing.

As we walk through Chapter Two, I want us to see a few truths that will help establish us in the days in which we live, as well as offer unto everyone a solid foundation of God’s salvation. 

Living the Christian life with humility and reverence for God, and knowing it's not about you.  

Exhaustion doesn’t always point to a lack of faith. Sometimes exhaustion can point to confusion, impatience in God’s purposes and the lack of rest in the Lord. What we need in life for our spiritual growth is not more, but maybe a pause for a moment. 

What a blessing we have in the God who reveals Himself to us! He guides us with His Word and helps us find the path to Him.

But I know whom I have believed. And am persuaded that He is able. To keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against that day.
