After a slow start to just about everything this year, the shrimp run is no different. It’s not easy netting shrimp for bait right now. Tarpon still haven’t really showed. Jimmy’s leaving over it and hoping they show up while he’s gone. Duane’s heading to the creeks looking for consistency in freshwater.

Duane and Jimmy get on another rant as the year continues to unfold in its own way. High salinity, murky water, and a very slow start to tarpon season has them both stumping on many different subjects but the river takes center stage.

Duane and Jimmy catch up after another month and things are heating up. Reds, trout, flounder, and sheepshead are showing up strong. Conditions are good so go fishing.
