No Never Alone

There are many things that would be considered as problematic for the world but Jesus will address the worlds' greatest problem with the greatest news ever delivered and the greatest offer laid before the world. All this is because He lives.

There are certain things that can be done to guarantee success or to predict failure in one's service to God. Through the lives of others there are lessons to be learned in order that we learn from them and not repeat the same mistakes.

God seeks to bless individuals and there are characteristics that will be seen in these individuals. God is seeking individuals that are willing to trust Him and demonstrate the goodness of God thought their lives, longing and lips.

There are times that we spend much of our time and effort in continually regretting certain acts, offenses or missed opportunities that come into our life. God wants us to recover from regret and move onto victory. The main thing is to go and find David and serve the true king and build his kingdom.

There are so many things that seek to draw one away from a vibrant and victorious relationship with the Lord Jesus. One of the greatest is depression. It is a darkness that has come into many lives and this primarily is due to disobedience to God. The doorway to darkness must be shut by God's people and open a new door unto a willing and obedient heart before God.

There are many promises that are given to the believer in the Word of God. God has promised to place a centurion to guard over your heart and mind but this centurion will only show up to the individual that is willing to ask, want and obey God's instruction.

It seems that common sense would tell me that God could use me most when I am at my strongest, wealthiest and wisest times of my life. In reality God brings glory to Himself most when He works through our weaknesses.

We are constantly being bombarded with the threat of new drugs that continually are invading many lives and destroying many homes. Individuals that need drugs are usually running away from something and are in need of trying to bring some form of happiness or joy but the problem is that the fix is temporary. The greatest and most profitable addiction is when one becomes addicted to Jesus.

One of the most misunderstood topics of the Bible is healing. So many a charlatan has made a fortune by claiming the power to heal at any given time. Does God heal? You better believe that He does, but what He does and how He does it can be very misunderstood. Listen to the teaching of James as he addresses the subject of healing.

Nathaniel has a living encounter with the Lord Jesus and is awestruck by his revelation. The revelation that He knew him before they ever formally met. The truth is God is the one that is looking for us and not the other way around.

King David will utter his final sayings but at the same time will determine who will guard the king, the palace and lead the guard. Benaiah will step forward and take on this great task and will leave an example of how we are to be courageous in all of life's challenges. The church is looking for such a champion.

Noah sent out a raven and a dove after the flood. The raven did not return because it found rest on the floating dead carcasses while the dove found no rest for its feet because she refused to rest on the dead and stinky bodies. The believer is to have no rest on the things that they should be dead to and be as the dove continually returning to the safety of the ark (Jesus).

The barrier that separated man and God was the temple veil. At the time of his sixth statement, the veil was rent in twain from top to bottom. The barrier between God and man has been removed and has now given access to God.

The fifth statement from the cross is not one of defeat but one of victory. He will now utter the words that will demonstrate that he was receiving the condemnation of sin upon himself in order that those that trust in him would never be separated from the love of God.

All things having been fulfilled Jesus will now utter the fourth saying from the cross. Nothing could be done until he was ready and he that knew no sin would become sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

The third saying from the cross is when Jesus addresses his mother and his apostle John. He would take responsibility for her earthly care as well as her eternal needs in giving his life for Mary but also for everyone that would call upon him.

Three crosses on Calvary and two malefactors between the Messiah. One mocks and rails on Jesus while the other recognizes who He is and seeks favor. This is the second saying from the cross.

The following Sunday will be the highlight of the Christian calendar and we will celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. It is however important that before we recognize the resurrection we must understand the atonement. The seven sayings from the cross begins with "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".

Jesus triumphant entry was met by individuals that cut down branches and threw their clothing in the way and rejoiced that their long awaited Messiah had arrived. He came on the back of a colt that had never been ridden.

Zacchaeus was a man that knew he had one opportunity to see and hear Jesus. He did not let any obstacles stand in the way of him being able to see and hear Jesus. How determined are you to know and be known by Jesus?

There are times that we are so close to a break through and victory and yet at the same time we are so far away. This is caused by looking in the wrong direction, not listening or simple disobedience.

The disciples are told that Jesus would be taken and crucified but that one of the disciples would betray Him. They all begin to ask if they were the one that was going to betray Him. This will lead us to examine ourselves to see if we be found in the faith.

There are many things that the world promises but it cannot deliver on the promise of providing peace and rest for your soul. God gives us the formula for rest for our souls in a dry and weary land.

In order to have an enduring faith we are to remember what God has done in the past, focus on doing His will in the present and trust him for our future. This will allow individuals to build a faith that will endure trials and challenges in life.

There are many things in the life of the believer that are self imposed. There are some things that we need to go through and then there are things that should have never found their way into our lives. God wants to set you free!
