Normally when your friend from elementary school has the generic version of something, like a box of Frosted Fakes, it's annoying. However, this week, the guys explain how generic support in Vanguard, as opposed to archetypes or subclans, is a good thing! As well, they react to the news that ZR's are only one of each per case.

You all know us here at Nexus at Night and Nexus Corps, but what about the other bloggers and youtubers out there? Well, the guys take a look at some of the blogs and channels that interest them, and maybe you too! And in classic N@N fashion, they rip on all of them (themselves and Root Beer included.) You ever look at a Vanguard card and wonder, "what went into this thing's art? Why is it drawn the way it is?" Well, the guys are here to talk about that! As they go each clan, explaining and speculating where this great game's aesthetics came from, they find that some are hard to explain away, and some are easy- like all 3 Paladin clans.

A new power has appeared on the horizon... and by that we mean the zeroth dragons! These new strides that work for entire nations rather than clans have the guys all in a tizzy as they go over the first one revealed, and speculate on what the others could be. Well well well, looks like someone in Bushiroad's design department finally got the memo! With the reveal of a new stride for often-shafted clan Oracle Think Tank, the dynamic hosting duo talks about how clans become good, and how good cards are made.

Returning from Bushiroad's Grand Fest with his pride stomped to pieces, Atlas calls up Matt so they can talk about it. However, a visitor is in the studio: Josh "Axel" Lee, who came all the way from Toronto and swept the competition on his way to first place!

Oh boy oh boy, it's Royal Paladin time! The guys bring on their friend Jesse, a newcomer to N@N, to talk about his first love within Vanguard: Royal Paladin. They're fairly vanilla, and pretty much every clan is based off them, but boy do they pack a wallop!

Another year, another fighters collection. This time Matt and Atlas bring back the bolt from the blue, Living Proof to help them out! The three talk about the new GB8 strides, g-guards, and heal triggers every clan got, along with what it's going to do to the metagame (hint: it has something to do with spike brothers.)

With the permanent departure of Gabe, Atlas and Matt decide to try something different this week: what if the big four decks of the current meta (Gear Chronicle, Granblue, Blaster Engine, and Luard) suddenly disappeared over night? What would step in to take its place? Stay tuned for 45 minutes of arguing.

She's back! Ash joins the guys this week for the first time in a while to talk about her favorite (and Atlas' second favorite)clan: Pale Moon. Hijinks ensue when Gabe can't get his dogs to stop barking.

Gabe's out again, so Atlas and Matt take a look at an April Fools joke a year in the making: Character Booster 3! They also take some time to talk about the recently revealed Japanese banlist, and what it could mean for the metagame.

The guys take a look at Bushiroad's tournament procedures, judges, and everything in between. Along the way they tell some anecdotes from various tournaments, and stories from other walks of life as well...
