As we explore the biblical principles for valuing all human life, we reveal the meaning of being made in the image of God. 

Because God is with us, we can experience a personal, everyday friendship with God. Praying personally and corporately invites us to cultivate an everyday relationship with God.

Throughout the Bible, we see God making His dwelling place with us. God sent His son Jesus to be close to us and now, because of His Holy Spirit, we can have an everyday relationship with Him.

We have assurance in our salvation because we love our neighbor and walk in the light of our salvation. 

Loving one another is how we express God’s visible love to the world. 

We are the children of God. Therefore, imitate God. 

The life and love of God is made manifest in Christ. When we are in Christ, we cannot stay the same. 

Paul boasted in his weakness. When we boast in our weakness, God’s power and glory are put on display and we live full of purpose. 

We are in a real battle with a real enemy. To live purposefully for God, we must understand how to use our spiritual weapons of war. 

God promises that those who sow bountifully will reap bountifully. Our attitude matters because God is a giver and God loves a cheerful giver.

We can point to God in our victories, but the glory of God is also put on display when we turn to him and repent of our sin. Godly grief produces repentance that leads to salvation without regret, while worldly grief produces death. To be on purpose for God, we must repent. 

Today is the day of salvation. Paul challenges the church not to receive God’s grace in vain. No matter what obstacles we face, we can walk today in God’s salvation.

Because of Jesus, you are now a new creation. Your old life is gone. A new life has come. Because we are reconciled to God through Christ, God has purposed us to be ministers of reconciliation. 

God has shone in our hearts to give light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Paul says that this immeasurable treasure resides in us, mere “jars of clay,” to show that this gift is about God and not us.
