Salvation is free, but discipleship is costly. What will it cost us to confess and follow Jesus courageously?

Jesus remains steadfast despite the opposition he faced from the religious establishment. What do we do in the face of opposition?

 Jesus heals us spiritually and physically. We can live by faith in Jesus. 

Through parables, Jesus teaches the upside-down kingdom. Through His continued miracles and teachings, Jesus builds the disciples in an unusual way in order to establish His kingdom on earth. 

 Jesus demonstrates His authority as he heals, teaches, and identifies himself as the Holy One of God. 

Mark introduces Jesus in an unexpected way. John the Baptist prepares the way for the Lord, just as Isaiah predicted. But Jesus appears as a man ready to be baptized by John. 

As we explore the meaning of the Great Commission, we learn to live an everyday mission for God. Our mission is our work for God that overflows our everyday relationship with Him. 

God has generously blessed us, and now we get to personally and collectively be generous. By giving, we affect the next generation by showing them an everyday relationship with Jesus.  

Becoming an everyday disciple of Jesus means walking with Him, so we can become more like Him.
