Dave Chae shares how Jesus wants to turn us all into fishermen – he invites us on a mission to help pull people into life, with unforced rhythms of grace that allow us to live freely and lightly with him.

What does real love look like? Dave G. gives us some Uncommon perspective on how we can bring that love to the world.

Spiritual Formation Pastor Ed Salas starts his message with a reality check: “Change is the Air We Breathe.” He then turns to Scripture to provide some UNCOMMON ways to navigate the changes we can expect in life.

Maribel brought a Mother's Day blessing from the story of Joseph. It gives us a model for how to respond when we face the challenging aspects of family life together, and shows us the way God can use even our lowest moments to accomplish kingdom purposes.

Jimmy Bae gave us the perfect intro into our Uncommon series. As we open up our lives again, we want to go forward in a new way. In church, that means shifting our mindset to be 100% motivated by love over fear.

Dave G. wraps up our Renaissance series with some life-changing ways to respond when confronted with our own personal brokenness. The more light shines on us, the more God ushers us into grace and healing.

Nehemiah 1 is a foundational passage for Newsong – it reveals how God can use the painful moments in our lives, and how vision emerges from relationship. The broken structures around us are not the end of the story – let's come together in faith and start building.

Jimmy Bae continues our Renaissance series with one of the all-time great passages. Psalm 23 is a picture of new life, and how God equips us to walk through every season.

Love how this teaching was not the traditional Easter passage, but still a perfect picture of what Easter is all about: God going to the borders to show his love and bring healing to the misfits of this world.

One final question for our Elements conversation: What does it look like to be truly rich in this life? Dave Gibbons wraps up the series with a message about the soils, showing how the most fruitful life is productive as it perseveres in the face of injustice.

Only Patricia could connect Chocolate Meat, Cubism and Jesus. Along the way, she also deconstructs some of the childish thinking that religious people might have about spiritual maturity. Praying we all allow Jesus to wash our eyes so we can truly see.

God doesn't want us to become more religious; he's inviting us into a life where we dance with him. Spiritual maturity is learning how to translate the truth into love, with the Holy Spirit leading our interactions with those around us.

Our Elements series would not have been complete without digging into Philippians 3. Jimmy helps uncover the three attributes of mature faith defined here, so we can "move forward into maturity" with the mind of Christ.

Our Elements series is about how spiritual maturity is not just knowing a bunch of fancy words – it's living them out. So perfect that Linda brought it back to John 15 to show us what it looks like when these truths come to life.

When you hear the word "Elements," you might think our new series is just focused on the basic foundations of our faith. But these truths are taken to another level when we operate with the mind of Christ, using wisdom to apply them in every context of life.

"He’s the God of relationship, not just the God of outcomes. We are called to experience the heart of God even before the fulfillment happens." Thank you Courtney for sharing this message and your story! Hopefully this prayer helps carry us into the Lent season: “Even in the waiting, I’m in.”

We live in the world, but we're also called to be "not of this world.” Jimmy’s Born2 message helps us navigate this culture clash, and brings the word “EK” into our vocabulary! It’s a one-word reminder of our citizenship in the kingdom, with heaven as our destination AND our origin.

Dave shows us the treasure of being born again in God's kingdom. No matter what circumstances we face, God can give us a new set of eyes to focus on the unseen. "That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day."

Get ready for some global family time as we hear from Mexico City! Janice and Benny embody Newsong’s heart through their work with El Pozo de Vida, which is just one part of their international campaign against human trafficking. This message is full of insight into the many aspects of our identity that are shaped by new birth.

We call Adam "The Professor" of our Newsong misfit academy – he shares how 2021 is a year of rebirth for him, and perfectly honors MLK weekend with this Born2 message.

“Have you ever thought that darkness is something we can outgrow?” Once again, we were so blessed by Patricia and the artistry she brings to every message. So much illumination in how she connected our natural experience of childbirth to the supernatural experience of being born again.

Our new series is all about the rebirth that Jesus invites us into – hope we all get to experience that throughout this year! Dave G. kicks it off with the original BORN2 passage that shows us how to enter the kingdom.
