In these next two words from the cross, we see Jesus's care for His mother as well as His humanity. Listen in to hear what that has to say to us today.

The repentant thief on the cross is a classic example of the glorious biblical truth that we are saved by grace through faith. Jesus saves to the uttermost if we will trust in Him for salvation.

God and God alone can bring life out of death. He and He alone can cause dry bones to live again. What in your life is "dead"? Trust God to breathe life into them.

God has so ordered this world that what one sows, he also reaps. This is true with plants, but it is also true with all other aspects of life. Join with us as we look at Paul's instruction to us to continue in sowing because we will reap if we don't grow weary.

Our God is a great and mighty God, and He deserves all of our praise.

What does a healthy church look like? What does it do on a regular, consistent basis? Is health based on size, number of services, or any other number of things that are seen as signs of success today? No. The early church focused on 4 key areas, and they are things a church of any size can, and should, focus on.

Believers and churches should spread the Gospel. But how should we reach out to the lost and dying world? Jesus tells us His plan for evangelism in our text today.

God requires His people to love Him with their whole being. But that's not all. We should also love others who are made in His image. This is something we can only do through His empowerment.

Followers of Christ have been given a command by Jesus to go into all the world and make disciples.

As we enter into the new year, Jesus gives us a powerful piece of counsel - don't worry. But He doesn't just tell us not to do it. He also gives us reasons why we shouldn't worry as well as what to do instead.

As we wrap up 2024, this passage gives us three commitments we would do well to make as we close out one year and start a new one.
