In this message of the series, Follow Him , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Matthew 4:1-11. Being a follower of Jesus means doing what He did as part of His life including spending time in the Word. If He needed it, then we do also. 

Continuing the series, Follow Him , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Matthew 6:5-6 where Jesus describes how we are to pray. We are to be consistent, alone, focused and expect God to answer. Our prayer need to be upward, inward and outward. 

Continuing the series, Follow Him, Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Psalm 103:1-14. Worship is our response to God as it ascribes unspeakable value and displays substantial love to Jesus. People were created for worship; the key is the direction of our worship. 

Dr. Tim Johnson and Brent Watson start the new message series, Follow Him , by looking at Matthew 7:24-27, Luke 6:48 and John 15:4-5 and what it means to following Jesus throughout all of our lives. 

Dr. Tim Johnson concludes the series, Contend for the Voice, by looking at Psalm 139:17-24.  God is always with us and His thoughts outnumbers the grains of sand.  However, in order to have God's blessing and protection we must be humble, honor Him and obey His commands.

Continuing the series, Contend for the Voice , Dr. Tim Johnson shares Psalm 139:7-12. David shares that God is always present regardless of where he might be; in the highs and the lows. He is with us in the extremes of life. 

Continuing the series, Contend for the Voice , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Psalm 139:13-16. God is for life. We are created in the image of God with purpose and meaning which is the foundation for our self-worth and self-esteem.

Dr. Tim Johnson begins the new series, Contend for the Voice , by looking at Psalm 139:1-6.  David faced a number of trials in his live. However rather than looking horizontally, he looked vertically to God. We might be in the wilderness, but we do not have to be in the ditch.

Concluding the Advent series, Living In Holy Uncertainty, Dr. Tim Johnson shares John 1:1-8 focusing on John 1:6-8 about John being a witness about the light of Jesus. Likewise, we are to be a light to others. 

In the Christmas Eve message of the series, Living In Holy Uncertainty , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at why in times of uncertainty it is important to look vertically to God rather than other things or people. 

Dr. Tim Johson continues the Advent series, Living In Holy Uncertainty , looking at Luke 2:1-7. Life is full of disruptions regardless. Jesus experienced several disruptions in His ministry.  Disruptions should not be viewed negatively, but where God can do amazing work in, through and around us. His rescue mission is not undermined by disruption. 

Dr. Bret Welstead, Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts, continues our Advent series, Living In Holy Uncertainty ,  looks at Luke 1:39-56.  Looking at the songs of Mary and Hannah, we find that both praise God in times of uncertainty in their lives; both connected to the story of God. Worship responds to the revelation of Him. 

Continuing the series, Living In Holy Uncertainty , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Luke 1:26-37.  God does His best work when things are uncertain. Our uncertainty is the perfect environment for Him to do amazing work in, through and around us. 

Dr. Tim Johnson begins our Advent series, Living In Holy Uncertainty , by looking at Luke 1:5-25.  Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth were devoted to God even though they lived in dark days; days of uncertainty. Like them we are to live with a loose grip or no grip on our plans. Instead we need to be secure in our relationship with God and know that He is in control.

Brent Watson, Pastor of Adult Ministries, concludes the series One Lord, One Faith by looking at Ephesians 6:10-20.  Paul concludes his letter by stating that as people grow in Christ that they will experience opposition.  Therefore, we are to be strong, put on / take up the armor of God and stand firm in our faith in Christ. 

Troy Heller, Pastor of Family Ministries, continues the series One Lord, One Faith looking at Ephesians 6:1-9. Children are to obey their parents as outlined in the first commandment so that they may enjoy a long life. Parents are encouraged to bring their children up in the training and instruction of the Lord. 

Continuing the series, One Lord, One Faith , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Ephesians 5:18-32. Paul encourages the Ephesians to submit to one another out of reverance for Christ; "chose to lose".  Christ is to be the hub of our relationships regardless. 

Dr. Tim Johnson continues the series, One Lord, One Faith , by looking at Ephesians 5:1-21. Our lifestyle reveals the focus of our heart. Therefore, as followers of Christ, we are to discard things that cause us to sin. Rather we are to imitate God in everything we do. 

Continuing the series, One Lord, One Faith , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Ephesians 4:17-32.  Paul encourages all followers of Jesus to live their lives equal to the priveldge of their calling. We are to get rid of our former way of life and let God renew our thoughts and attitudes

In this standalone message, Dr. Tim Johnson and others share the vision of Operation Christmas Child and why it is important in sharing the good news of Christ. 

Continuing the series, One Lord, One Faith , Dr. Tim Johnson looks at Ephesians 4:1-16. We are encouraged to live a life worthy of our calling as we have been called by God. We are to be humble, gentle, patient making allowance for each other and keeping ourselves united in God and in peace with each other. 

Dr. Tim Johnson continues the series, One Lord, One Faith , by looking at the most powerful prayer; Ephesians 3:14-21. Paul prays for the Ephesians and us that we realize how much God loves us and includes four requests: that we have strength , depth , prehensile faith (something that is beyond our capacity to grasp and that His love changes everything) and that we are filled to overflowing . Dr. Tim Johnson continues the series One Lord, One Faith , by looking at Ephesians 3:1-13. Paul reminds the Ephesians and us that God brought the Jews and Gentiles together through the blood of Christ. This was so that His wisdom could be known with the vehicle being the church. The church should be a reflection of Jesus, not of the culture. 

Dr. Tim Johnson continues the series, One Lord, One Faith , by looking at Ephesians 2:11-22. Paul reminds the Ephesians that Jesus reconciled the Jews and Gentiles by His death on the cross. This even though they had their differences just as today. We can embrace our differences with a common commitment to Christ because we are at peace with each other through our peace with God.
