Mike Young teaches through Romans 8:14-17 and speaks on our identity as sons of God and breaking agreements with lies we have believed.

Bo Noonan teaches through Mark 10:46-52. As a crowd gathers to Jesus a blind beggar's voice is louder than the rest. Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, shows what it means to step into faith and relationship with Jesus.

Bo Noonan teaches through Mark 10:32-45 where Jesus leads the disciples on the ascent to Jerusalem. As some of his followers vie for titles and fame, Jesus helps them see that true leadership in the kingdom of God is to serve and lay down our lives for the sake of others.

Alastair Moyer teaches from Mark 10:13-31 where we see Jesus flip the expectations of life on their head. Instead of proclaiming that people who "have it all together" (like the rich and famous) are ready to enter his kingdom, he teaches that it's actually those who are like little children who are ready to enter in.

As we roll into 2022 we revisit a preach from the end of 2020 from Bo Noonan. This teaching highlights how our grabs for control are counter to what is most helpful for us - a trust in our good Father who provides what we really need and who is our Promised Land.

Bo Noonan teaches from John 1, helping us to see who the Church is for and how we are called to be a both/and church, rather than an either/or church. Jesus was full of both grace and truth, not one or the other, and he calls us to be full of both as well.

Bo Noonan teaches teaches part four of our 2021 Advent series. How can we have peace, even in the midst of great difficulty? Jesus invites us, not only to receive a free gift of grace with God, but also to consider and practice a life of peace that comes from living out his ways.

Alissa Cooley teaches from Psalm 84 and John 20. Psalm 84 tells us that "better is one day in God's courts than a thousand elsewhere" - but how do we get there, and are we invited? The story of Mary Magdalene helps us find the answers.

Bo Noonan teaches through Mark 8:22-33, where we see two parallel stories of being gradually healed of blindness. In the first story, Jesus heals a man of physical blindness. At first the man's sight is blurry, but by the end it is fully clear. In a similar way, Peter begins to see Jesus, albeit in a blurry way, as the Messiah (or the Christ). Wes Swarthout teaches through Mark 8:1-21 where we see Jesus feed another massive group of people and then get berated by the Pharisees. He takes the opportunity to warn his disciples to protect themselves from the wrong thinking and teaching of the religious and political elite.

Bo Noonan teaches from Mark 7:24-37 where we find Jesus the same grace and mercy toward Gentiles (non-Jewish people) as he does toward "God's people." We see that faith and humility are greatly rewarded by him no matter what ethnic or social background they come from.

Bo Noonan teaches through Mark 6:31-44 where crowds of people follow Jesus expecting to get equipped to start a revolution and overthrow the Roman government. Instead of a revolution of triumphalism, he calls his followers to a revolution of humility.

Bo Noonan teaches through Mark 6:1-30, where we see a sandwich of events: after Jesus is rejected by in his childhood hometown, he sends the disciples with the same authority he has been given. As they go, Mark tells the story of John the Baptist's brutal death. The reality of difficulty and rejection are ever-present, yet there is still hope.

Waymond Hampton teaches through Mark 5:21-43, where we see Jesus' attempt to heal a 12-year-old girl interrupted by a woman in need of, not only healing, but reinstatement into society. As Jesus both heals and affirms the woman the young girl dies, yet that isn't the end of the story. Jesus not only has power over sickness, but also death!
