New Age Renaissance
Hello, hello. I'm Gustavo and for now, this is a podcast dedicated to depth, on no particular topics . Choosing the category tags was a bit limiting but the point of this podcast is to help push beyond limits. This is a podcast about life, as a concept, an experience. The first episode wasn't written down , kinda just went with the flow of things, letting the moment and present create what it needed to be. After that, I branched out. Speaking more of my own thoughts written down for better podcasting, sharing stories and the occasional ramble. So, this is it... this is New Age Renaissance. Are...

"Fire : Smoke"-Spoken Word 04.04.2026 7:24
I wrote this piece a few days ago and shared it elsewhere. I've gotten positive feedback about it so I thought it would be a good piece to share on the podcast as well. Let me know what you think, if you'd like, please. #spokenword #poetry
What if... God... 21.02.2026 10:23
The most difficult thing we can do in terms of cultivating a deeper threshold of our curiosity is ask questions we might never know the answers to. We may get close to understanding as deeply as possible, at least one can hope to, but "knowing" isn't something one person will ever obtain on their own. That's the beauty of it. This episode is a small attempt to dive deeper into curiosity's abundanc...
Reflective Aftertaste (Spoken Word) 14.12.2024 7:17
A spoken word showing a bit of my thought process in life, understanding, and growth. #spoeknword #poetry #philosophy #being
2024 U.S. Election Reflection 10.11.2024 13:12
At the very least, this episode can help garner some form of clarity and understanding. The bigger hope would be for those who listen to find a sense of peace in the midst of what happened this election. #2024uselection #clarity #awareness #faith #humanity #philosophy
The Deep End 13.10.2022 9:43
This episode is based on fear. The fear of water and where it might stem from. As well as possible nuances to what that fear could mean, and how we might be able to overcome it.
Freedom of Expression 26.04.2022 12:02
All I do is find sounds I like or that stand out on Garageband. None of what you hear in my "music compositions" is of my creation. Been playing with this program since '06 B.C. (Before Covid). It's just fun to try and tell a story using only music. I hope you enjoy the journey.
"A True Story" (Spoken Word) 20.01.2022 10:27
Trigger warning: the first section of this piece hints at ideas and scenes of self harm and suicide. I've always wanted to have a piece be an authentic true story. Although many of my poems and episodes are based on truths, nothing has been a completely true story until now.
"Stuck Point." (Spoken Word) 19.12.2021 7:17
Sometimes, no matter how hard we've worked or how much we plan we just get stuck in life. This piece is my reflection of a recent point like that. But no matter how stuck we may feel, no point in life is permanent. That's one of the frustrating beauties of life. Or, that's one of the beautiful frustrations of life. However you choose to see it.
Compassion not Control 01.12.2021 24:52
As we seek to gain more control over the outside world, we succeed only in losing more control of our self. Often times when we think we need control, what we need to give most, especially to ourselves, is compassion.
Love. 27.11.2021 6:36
Yet another episode recorded in my car. Unlike the last two however, this one was written down.. As promised, thoughts and feelings in Love.
Authority 14.11.2021 15:57
We all have the power to mold our lives as we desire. Where does the want or willingness to give up the power to create our lives to authority come from? Is authority another illusion we hold onto out of fear? What would you do if you were the only true authority of your life, wellbeing, and peace? What makes you think you aren't?..
Possibility and Hope 29.10.2021 8:21
Tonight, I expand on the connection between two of the highest forms of optimism. It's a short episode but, maybe I can offer insight into the experiences of possibility and hope. Thank you for listening.
Episode 42: Excerpt "Feel, Free". 18.04.2021 26:18
We don't stand and fight for freedom, justice, and equality to fulfill our sense of pride. We stand to fight for our humanity. Knowing that our vulnerability in being human is our greatest strength. It's not a matter of "How can we fight?" It's, "How can we not?"
Episode 41 "Transformation" 09.02.2021 6:35
I said the next episode would be another music composition. "Transformation". This is only the beginning. No doubt you've gone through so much unexpected growth and awakening, especially after 2020. As challenging as it's been, it's all for the better. To chip away at who you aren't in order to become more of who you are. This is New Age Renaissance. Are we ready?
"Here; Now." (Spoken Word) 29.08.2019 5:09
It's finally here. Episode 40. I hope (with all that I write and share actually) this piece, speaks to you and sparks within you...hope, light, and empowerment. Thank you, for continuing to be a part of New Age Renaissance.
Thoughts on Life... 12.08.2019 5:28
This episode is just, some random thoughts I had while staring at a blank page. It always seems like nonsense when I sit down to write with no clue or idea of what I want, yet somehow it works out. The same can be said of life: sometimes it just feels like randomness and that's what makes life beautiful. Seemingly random chaos strung together to create the miracle of life.
Pursuing Passion 11.08.2019 7:33
Are we, by nature, passionate? Are we born passionate? Does passion lay dormant within us or is it created by us? Either way, passion isn't something we can ignore or should.
At A Standstill... 10.08.2019 6:36
This episode was brought on by me not knowing what needed to be written. I had an idea for what I wanted but couldn't figure out how to say it, so this is what came of it. This episode is the result of me being at a standstill. I hope it helps you regain focus the next time you find you've arrived at one.
Life's Essence 26.06.2019 9:23
What does it take it make an impact? What could it take? Maybe all it takes is a reminder. A reminder that you, or me or people in general, are more. What if we accidentally became that reminder for someone and they in return, later, became ours?
Explore. 13.06.2019 3:59
This, is just a small sample of music I strung together with the help of Garageband on Mac. The music will be making another appearance on the podcast in episode 40 but I wanted to give you the full music audio experience so you don't have to strain to hear it all later. Why explore? Why not?
The Birth of Hope 08.06.2019 6:44
Where does hope come from? How is it we're naturally able to reach out for it when we feel we have nothing else? Is hope a product of our misfortune or...are we the products of hope's abilities? Does beginning to know hope mean beginning to know ourselves or, is that just a hope we hope to achieve in an attempt to comfort our sense of loss? Maybe, we need that sense of loss so we may better know w...
A Woman's Worth 24.05.2019 10:40
Speak out in love against violence. No longer should we sit idle in silence, only to be chained down by ignorance and fear. We must stand together as we've been meant to from the beginning: as equals. Women, this episode is for you. One person's attempt at letting you know you're seen and heard and supported in your fight for equality. This was never just your war, women's equality is human equali...
Virtue; Nourishment. 07.05.2019 8:41
If we strive to be a definitive idea of virtue, does that make us virtuous? Or is it, only when we cease seeking the absolution of virtue that it's bestowed unto us? Is virtue permanent or does it only pretend to be so; allowing for the illusion to play out as it flows seamlessly from moment to moment, knowing that if it tried to find itself in one or the other it would only succeed in losing itse...
Short Story: Persecution 23.04.2019 7:56
We're all, at some point or another, our own worst enemy; persecuting ourselves in hopes that it'll prevent others from doing it to us. Unable, or unwilling, to see ourselves as more than what little society deems us to be worth. This story is a call to action, to stand up and rise to be what those living in fear don't expect you to be: true.
Opposites: A, Neccessity 22.04.2019 7:49
In this episode, we begin the exploration of the scope of Yin-Yang. In life, in living and in being. It's all about balance. Our human experience is a part of achieving that balance, whether we want it to be or not.
