The Humane Society raid near 195th and Pacific yesterday took up a lot of conversation this morning (and, if you're looking for the interview with the woman who lived there and shut that mess down, find it on the "Vintage Voorhees" podcast link).  But we also had the Husker Buzz with Sean Callahan, Israel trying to save Trump's life, Greg Wagner from NE Game and Parks, and more!

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above, out where the lighting splits the sea, this is where we've come together to talk about Platner dropping out, America renewing bombing in Iran, Gov. Pillen cutting spending, a cow traipsing through West Omaha streets, and the legendary Bonnie Tyler leaving us too soon.

"That," in this instance, could refer to soccer, medical marijuana in Nebraska, Platner in Maine -- just about anything today!

The local paper had an interesting front page on America's 250th birthday, I have a knockout winner for the title of Most Patriotic Movie, and the President may have scored a big GOOOAAAALLLLL with a phone call.  All that and more today!

Well, "Independende Day Eve," but no less festive!

That penalty last night was asinine!  How can they do that to the US just before our birthday?!?  We also have homophobic Mexicans, racist pickles, and mean promissory notes.

Most of the time today, we're talking about the socialist craze sweeping the nation just in time for America's 250th and Jim's issues with a fun golf event at Memorial Stadium -- until we take a moment to ask Gov. Pillen about both of those things!  

Turns out, sinkholes are good for business!  We have a CWS winner as the longtime voice of the Series steps down.  We talk with Bill Jensen about that before chatting with Sen. Ricketts about the President invading the Senate GOP meeting tomorrow.  And, of course the "a gang member took my soul" arson suspect was discussed today, too!
