Nastygram: An RPG Podcast

Take a listen to the beginning of a portion of just one of our holiday specials that will be available exclusively to our Snack Shackers who support us over at www.patreon.com/nastygram Please consider supporting us if you like what we do and want to help us keep putting it out there to listen to.

Dan, Devin, Jake, and Josh are joined by special guests Andrew and David to discuss something near and dear to all their hearts - mystery stories in RPGs!  This is probably our favorite round table discussion we have had yet and wanted to share it with you all here instead of on the special bonus feed as a little holiday treat.   If you like stuff like this and want more exclusive content, as well...

Their mission was a success but despite it revealing even more of these secret Nazi capabilities, the team and their SOE handlers are left with more questions than ever.  Any celebration is short-lived in the face of the war that continues to go poorly for the Allies and has a shocking surprise in store... Theme song for London Calling! is "Dark Ritual" by Adrian von Ziegler. More from this amazin...

The team finally has eyes on their target.  The two German spies seemingly just made another transmission in broad public.  Dr. Hartley and her fellow operatives might not understand how, but that will have to come later.  It's time to follow them back to wherever they are operating or living out of and, as they were ordered to do, neutralize this threat... Theme song for London Calling! is "Dark...

The SOE team with Dr. Hartley's assistance is beginning to connect the dots of this German spy ring.  They might not have a clear scientific explanation for it all but if they can narrow down the possibilities, maybe they can catch them in the act... Max Ortmann, their best possible lead to the German spy network, is dead.  The team will have to do their best investigative work with the help of Dr. Hartley to discover their hidden enemies as they continue to pass information to aid the air attacks.  And some targets might be closer than they realize... The Special Operations Executive has officially (and secretly) been established and this team suddenly has a much more official backing and they will need all the help and support they can get as the war continues to turn against the Allies.  But their next mission won't be behind enemy lines, it will be looking for the enemy within, and to find them, they will have a very special enabler assigned...

The team returns to England with a victory in hand but the clouds of war grow darker and darker around the island.  They grapple with their own experiences as the evacuation of Dunkirk fails and whispers of invasion and German infiltrators spreads... The team has found the Crown Prince and has gotten him back to their boat.  But now the problems come clear in how to get him out while the German eyes are upon them all... The team has made contact with Norweigan resistance and must formulate a plan to get the badly wounded Crown Prince from his location in hiding outside of the city somehow to the docks and aboard undetected... The fight fares poorly for the Allies in Norway and into this front our party is sent - this time to try to find the injured Crown Prince of Norway before the Nazis can.  They will need to link up with a new contact and make their way through treacherous, enemy-controlled waters in occupied Trondheim and find the Norweigan resistance before time runs out... Theme song for London Calling! is "Dark...

Their mission is complete but not without losses, both of a companion who never came back home and the effects on each of them from the experience.  We get a chance to see more of the lives of this disparate group and what they hold dear.  But before long, they are called back for another urgent mission... Theme song for London Calling! is "Dark Ritual" by Adrian von Ziegler. More from this amazin...

The team has arrived at Goluchow Castle but they are not the first guests.  Baron von Behr and his troops have entered late in the night and this slapdash group of commandos must decide whether to take their time and plan, or strike fast and use chaos.  No matter what, they will not know what they are walking into... Theme song for London Calling! is "Dark Ritual" by Adrian von Ziegler. More from...

This rag-tag team must travel from the neutral port in Romania to far into Poland, deep behind Nazi lines.  They must do their best to avoid any entanglements and do what they can to deal with those they must face.  Gol uchów Castle awaits them and the treasures of the Polish people that lay hidden within... A strange team is assembled at the behest of Her Majesty's war-beset government and they are assigned to a strange mission.  A late career intelligence officer, a Senti escaped from German camps, a semi-reformed art thief, and a soldier and engineer from Poland are being tasked on a mission far behind enemy lines.  London is calling... We are about to embark on our first sequel arc and first step is to sit down and figure out the cast of character that will be populating it.  Josh is going to run a follow-up to the Ithaca Project arc, this time set on the other side of the pond in 1940.  The same cast returns as Matt, Devin, Dan, and Jake roll up four individuals who will make up a team that will be fighting the Nazis on daring...

It was a short arc but a very fun and a different one in a number of ways for us and have been looking forward to talking about it.  Jake, Dan, and Josh wax philosophical about Star Wars, two-player RPGs, the future of these characters and a whole lot more! We open the doors of the Snack Shack once again to let you in on a cool discussion from one of our top-tier Heroes Feast members.  Mr. Brian K dropped us four different topics to choose from and we decided to just go full bore and tackle each!   To get access to our bonus feed and to learn more about our rewards like this, check us out at www.patreon.com/nastygram

The Return of the Jedi made famous the now well-known Star Wars triple battle.  Surely we can't pull that off here with only two PCs... unless time gets a little wonky.  The Ashani will be needed if the Jedi investigators are going to claim the evidence they need and get off Takari Station, but can they be trusted to get out into the galaxy? The Jedi investigators seeking these murderers have become the accused.  They have come to know much of the truth, which has made them dangerous to those responsible.  But they have allies here on Takari Station and have made contacts beyond all of that... The Jedi investigators head back into the Dreamscapes yet again to speak with the dead but they are far from alone there.  And despite their efforts and initiative, other forces remain a step ahead... Another death but this one was seen first-hand by the Jedi as was the strange "possession" of young Kyra.  Despite these encounters, the mystery of what is happening on Takari station is no clearer yet, although the threat is coming more into focus...
