आज द्रोण मृत्यु को प्राप्त हुए। उन्हे मरना पांडवों के लिए जरूरी तो था पर किसी मे उन्हे मारने की क्षमता नहीं थी तो झूठ का सहारा लिया गया। अर्जुन और युधिष्ठिर अपने गुरु से छल करने की कल्पना भी नहीं कर पा रहे थे पर कृष्ण ने कहा कि यह युद्ध धर्म के लिए है, व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ के लिए नहीं। इसके लिए अगर झूठ का सहारा लेना पड़े तो वह भी धर्म है।

on 14th day many brave and great warriors were killed. Arjun could kill Jaidrath! Though he was tricked to come out of hiding. Brave Bhurishrawas died when Arjun severed his right hand when he was about to kill Satyaki. Shrutayudh died with his own Devine mace when Krishna who was unarmed was hit with the mace though it may have been intended for Arjun. Very intense War happened on 14th day.

On 13th day of Kurushetra battle, Arjun again was challenged by Sampatakas and king Susharma and he went to fight them. Other side Dron arrayed his army in lotus chakravyuh formation. Arjun is challenged by Trigarth king Susharma to fight with him. It was done to divert Arjun away from Yudhishthir. Dron has to try to capture Yudhishthir alive.

युद्ध का १२ वाँ दिन भी और दिनों जैसा था पर आज द्रोणाचार्य युधिष्ठिर को जिंदा पकड़ने वाले हैं। और अर्जुन बीच मे न आए इसलिए उसे त्रीगार्थ के राजा सुशर्मा उनसे युद्ध करने की उसे चुनौती देते हैं। सुशर्मा और उनके भाइयों ने अर्जुन को जबतक न मार दें तबतक युद्ध करेंगे या अर्जुन के साथ युद्ध मे मृत्यु को प्राप्त करेंगे ऐसा प्रण किया है।

Mahabharat story takes a new turn. Bheesm is lying down on a bed of arrows. Dronacharya is made new commander - in-chief. He is requested on 11th day of war to capture Yudhishthir alive and turn him to Duryodhan. Let us see what happens. Karn enters battlefield with exit of Bheesm Grand Sire.

१० वे दिन शिखंडी और अर्जुन के तीरों से घायल होकर भीस्म पितामह गिर पड़े। वे तीरों की शैय्या मे थे। कर्ण को जब यह समाचार मिला, वह भीस्म से मिलने आया युद्ध के लिए उनका आशीर्वाद और अनुमति लेने। द्रोणाचार्य को अब सेनापति चुना गया। उनकी फुर्ती देखने योग्य थी। अगले दिन उन्होंने युधिष्ठिर को जिंदा पकड़ने का वचन दिया।

On 8th & 9th days of Kurushetra, the battle was intense and Duryodhan lost his 8 brothers and Arjun lost his son Iravan. But 10th day of the battle was very significant as that day Grand Sire Bheesm fall down from Chariot with arrows shot by Shikhandi and Arjun. This was a day when everyone was sad.

On day 7th, many interesting duel battles were being fought . Both sides had set back but Arjun destroyed Tigarthas army with his Aindra devine weapon. And all Pandavas together could not defeat Grand Sire Bheesm! This was very clear that he is invincible. It was a tiring day! King Virat lost his son Sanga. At the end of the day, Music was the only thing that could keep them sane.

सातवें दिन के लड़ाई और घमासान थी। बहुत सारे योद्धा द्वनद युद्ध मे व्यस्त थे। राजा विराट का तीसरा पुत्र भी आज मारा गया। कितना खतरनाक होता है युद्ध। सुबह जब सब लड़ने निकलते थे उन्हे पता नहीं होता की शाम को फिर मिलेंगे या नहीं।

Day 5th was day of Pandvas and day 6th was day of Kaurvas. But more interesting is their arraying their armies in various formations and using drums or nagaras as code language. Amazing, is not it?

कुरुक्षेत्र के युद्ध का बहुत ही रोचक अंश था तरह तरह के व्यूह की रचना। हर दिन भीस्म व दृष्टदूमन अलग अलग तरह के पक्षी या जानवरों के आकार की व्यूह रचना करते थे। व्यूह की रचना उस दिन उनका क्या उद्देश्य है इस बात पर निर्भर करता था। व्यूह रचना गतिशील होती थी और उसे बदल दिया जाता था। उतना ही रोचक है नगाड़ों की आवाज से सेना को सूचना पहुचना - कोडिंग जैसे।

Day 4 of Kurushetra war was like other three days in the sense that there was invincible Grand Sire Bheesm leading Kauravas great army. His martial art, war fare was very impressive to say the least. Then Arjun and Bheem were there whose techniques and power was equally striking!

चौथा दिन भी अन्य तीन दिनों जैसे था। भीष्म की युद्धकला व शौर्य पांडवों को परेशान करने वाला था। औरअर्जुन व भीम का शौर्य लोगों को आश्चर्य चकित करने वाला था। इनके अलावा भी बहुत सारे वीर अपनी वीरता का प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे। और इन सब का नतीजा नाश ही था।

Drona and Bheesm attacked Yudhishthir. Nakul and Sahdev were with Yudhishthir. Arjun attacked Kauravas' army and all of them started throwing arrows and spears at him with power and concentration. But Arjun was too good for them. He built a fort like formation with his own arrows around him and all the weapons thrown at him could not penetrate his fortification. He was a very skilled warrior.

महाभारत के तीसरे दिन का युद्ध। युद्ध शुरू होते ही धरती रक्त रंजीत होने लगी। घमासान युद्ध चल रहा था। द्रोण और भीस्म युधिष्ठिर से युद्ध कर रहे थे। नकुल सहदेव युधिष्ठिर के साथ थे। अर्जुन भी वही थे। शकुनि और उनकी सेना सात्यकी और अभिमन्यु से युद्ध कर रही थी। भीम और उनका पुत्र घटोत्कच पीछे की तरफ दुर्योधन और उसके अंतर्गत सेना के साथ युद्ध कर रहे थे।

Day 1 was bad for Pandvas. Kauravas army in chief Bheesm proved too powerful for Pandavas. Day 2 saw a very fierce battle between Bheesm and Arjun and Drona and Drishtduman. Bheem comes to rescue of Dristhduman and has to fight Kalinraj , his son and their chariot army. Even Namketu surrounded Bheem with his elephant army.

कल पांडवों का बहुत नुकसान हुआ था । आज का दिन कौरवों के लिए बुरा रहा। आज अर्जुन और भीम ने अपनी शक्ति की अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया हालांकि भीस्म को हराना अर्जुन के लिए मुश्किल था।

Day one of Kurushetra war started. Yudhishithir went and sought permission and blessings from his elders in Kauravas side to start the fight. He was given permission and blessings. Arjun was very pained to fight his own people and Krishna preached him Gita, one of the Most sacred literature where Krishna advises Arjun to do his duty without any emotions and without worrying about outcome.

Mahabharat story getting very interesting. Kauravas have selected Bheesm as their Commander in chief for their army. Bheesm after much thought agrees for it. He selected commanders under him for various divisions but ignores Karn. Karn is very offended and announces that he would join the battlefield only after Bheesm has fallen which he did. Krishna helps in making rules for the war.
