Join us as we re-read Eli’s current favorite book Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, illustrated by Axel Scheffler. The Boo-Hoo Witch by Janet Craig, illustrated by Pat Schories.

Fairy princesses can get dirty and have scabby knees! Join us as we learn about a little girl with a great imagination. The Very Fairy Princess is written by Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton, illustrated by Christine Davenier.

How do pumpkins grow? Join us as we learn about pumpkin plants. From Seed to Pumpkin is written by Wendy Pfeffer illustrated by James Graham Hale. Eli (with a little bit of help!) reads Room on the Broom — a favorite by Julia Donaldson illustrated by Alex Scheffler.

Eli is very excited this week because in this episode we read a story about an Eli! Eli the lion is an old grumpy cat who learns a valuable lesson— keep some friends around as you never know when you might need them. Eli is written by Bill Peet.

This week we read Personal Space Camp by Julia Cook illustrated by Carrie Hartman. It is a great story about a child learning to respect other people’s personal space; a hard concept to learn as a small child. Eli belts out a rendition of “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson.

Sometimes it is hard to sleep at night... especially when you feel alone. Join us as we read Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt and Llama Llama by Anna Dewdney. Eli sings a little tune too.

This week’s book is John Lennon’s “Imagine” illustrated by Jean Jullien with a forward by Yoko Ono Lennon and an afterword by Amnesty International. This song/book reminds us of an important lesson: to love and accept all types of people and to live in peace. There is also a portion of a podcast Eli recorded on his own!

In this episode we take a trip with the alphabet. The letter ‘I’ encounters a problem and with fun team work the problem is resolved. Alphabet Adventure is written by Audrey and Bruce Woods.

Boys can have dolls too. This week we read a great book called William’s Doll by Charlotte Zolotow, pictures by William Pene Du Bois. Special guest reading with Eli’s grandma Ellen, A Day at the Farm illustrated by John Francis.

This week we read a book about loss. It’s not only a story about loss, it is also a story about great friendship and how friends can grieve with you and lift you up. Maybe Tomorrow? is by Charlotte Agell and it is illustrated by Ana Ramirez Gonzales. Also: Eli plays the harmonica for a moment (ha) and sings The Beatles, “Come Together.”

Special birthday edition! Eli turned 4 this week. Join us in listening to a story about a topic we can all relate to. “When Sophie Gets Really, Really Hurt” by Molly Bang. Eli sings the ABC’s.

Danny and the Dinosaur by Syd Hoff. In this episode we follow Danny as he goes on an adventure with a dinosaur that he meets in a museum. The dinosaur and the boy spend a fun filled day together helping people, going to a zoo and playing with other children. This book has been a favorite.

In this episode we follow Beverly as she attempts to make a perfect cake. Sometimes a mistake can make something even more beautiful! You’ll also hear Eli singing part of a Beatles song.

In this episode you will get to listen to Eli’s rendition of “Blackbird” by one of his favorite bands. Listen to an adventure of a Subway train as she makes a big transition from tunnels to the ocean.
