My old friend Jeff talks to me about his experiences as a RMC Director, the ups, downs, highs and lows as he splits his tenure into 4 stages. No, I haven't raised an epic athlete from the dead, but it was a tenuous link to going the extra mile. I used to live near Roger Bannister Sports Centre in Harrow, refereed a few football matches there, and his feat of running the first sub 4 minute mile has always intrigued me.
