My Blue Thoughts

5.15 This week we recap the first half of the season. Dodgers haven't been 100% all season, and still have the second best record in MLB. Will the team make a deal by the trade deadline?

5.13 Dodgers got swept in San Diego. The Padres looked like they wanted it more. It's done, it's over. There's a showdown with the Giants this week, and while regular series wins are nice, it's the ones in October that count. 

Ep. 5.12 This week we discuss how I predicted the Dodgers would go 10-2. I talk about the new Nike city jerseys, and recall memories of going to baseball auditions. Cody, Muncy, and Seager are on their way back. The Dodgers had an easy stretch, but now have tough series against the Padres, Cubs, and Giants. 

Ep. 5.11 Ten years after getting drafted, Andy Burns gets his first major league hit. This week, I talk about the perseverance of Andy Burns, and continuing to pursue your dreams. The Dodgers went 5-1 this week, and it was a team effort. My pre season Cy Young candidates are proving me wrong so far. 

5.10 This weeks episode is a little more introspective. Peter discusses his love of the game of baseball, and asks a very thought provoking question about Albert Pujols. Peter explains why the Dodgers should throw at more hitters, and why the Dodgers are right where they need to be. 

Ep 5.9 Dodgers sweep the D Backs and the Giants. Lux showing signs of why the Dodgers held on to him. Trevor Bauer and Julio Urias, are legit Cy Young award candidate. BIG series vs the Astros this week, and they face the Giants at home.

5.8 The Dodgers bounce back with a 4-1 week, but at a hefty cost. Corey Seager has a fracture, and will miss 4-6 weeks. The Dodgers sign Albert Pujols. Ep 5.7 The Dodgers have been playing awful, and are now 2.5 behind the Giants. It's not time to "panic" per se, but it's time to do something. These games matter just as much now, as they do in September, and I can't stand the new girl.

Ep 5.6 The Dodgers had an awful week. From losing 2/3 against the Reds, and 3/4 against the Brewers. The Dodgers have NOT played good baseball over the last two weeks, and they're STILL on top of the division, and leading MLB in wins. The Dodgers proved that they don't need to have the excessive celebrations that other teams do, they just talk with their performance on the field. I get to be there in person to watch NLCS Game 1. Ep 4.12-SAN DIEGO It wasn't pretty, but the Dodgers advanced out of the Wild Card round, by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 2-0. The Dodgers now face a showdown with the San Diego Padres, who seem to be the favorite of baseball writers and analysts. Ep. 4-11 NL Wildcard  Dodgers finish the season 43-17, only a few games off my prediction of 47-13. The Dodgers will play the Brewers, in what should not a difficult series for the Dodgers. Peter discusses what he would do if the Dodgers win the World Series. We talk about why I want the Dodgers to play the Astros in the World Series

EP 4.10 The playoff format has been announced, and there WILL be post season baseball, and there's a chance I might be there. 

EP 4.9 This week, Peter discusses his frustrations with Kenley Janson, and discusses the Dodgers possible options to fill the closer role. Joe Kelly has become a Dodger legend. And Peter also discusses the anniversary of Tupac's murder, or as some people say, "murder.'

Ep 4.8 Peter talks about the Dodgers recent trade of Ross Stripling, and reflects on Dodger trades of the past. With 18 games left, the Dodgers are 30-12, 5 games ahead of the Padres. Despite the first series loss of the season, there's still a lot to be excited about, as these last three weeks of the regular season play out.
