God called Noah to build an ark, and Noah responded with faithful, steady obedience. But behind Noah’s faithfulness was something greater: the faithful God who always keeps his promises. This message reminds us that Jesus sticks with us in mercy and empowers us to live faithfully, one small act of service at a time.

Trials remind us that we are not the masters of our lives. God is. But because he is good, we can trust him to bring us through weakness, fear, uncertainty, and hardship. His goodness does not fail, and his grace gives us strength to keep going.

Kindness is tougher than we often think. It keeps loving, serving, and doing good even when people are ungrateful. God has been kind to the ungrateful and wicked—including us. Through Christ and the Holy Spirit, we can show that same resilient kindness to others.

When life puts you in rocky places, patience can still grow. This message from 1 Timothy 1 points us to the immense patience Jesus showed Paul—and shows us. Through God’s Word, the Holy Spirit empowers us to respond with joyful mercy instead of short-fused anger, frustration, or resentment in life.

Peace is not produced by perfect circumstances. Psalm 46 reminds us that even when life shakes, God is our refuge and strength. His presence is steady, his help is certain, and his peace guards our hearts in Jesus. Let the storms rage, but be at peace with your Savior.

Happiness comes and goes with circumstances. Joy is different. Joy is rooted in what Jesus has done, not in how life feels today. This week’s sermon reminds us to fix our eyes on Jesus and find joy that can grow in every season—even the painful ones.
