Jimmy Davis – God creates a new people with a new purity and passion to be in partnership with Him. How are we able to live this out? With a new power from the Holy Spirit as God sanctifies His people.

Eric Parker - Psalm 122 is a Song of Ascents, which the people of Israel would sing on the way to celebrate the three annual feasts in Jerusalem. This Psalm shapes the way worship each week, and it points us forward to our future hope in Christ.

Jimmy Davis- The Psalms help us learn how to respond to reality. Many psalms equip us to respond with lament, grief, and questions to the reality of trouble in our world and our hearts. Psalm 145 is one of many psalms that help us respond with praise and thanksgiving to the reality that God redeems and renews our troubled world and hearts.

Jimmy Davis - Though we don’t know the specific ’troubles’ that were wrapping Asaph in a straitjacket of distress, we all know how it feels when the troubles in our world and heart cause us to wonder if God will remain faithful to love us. Psalm 77 gives us an idea of how Asaph found strength to trust God’s love in his present troubles.

Jimmy Davis - Doubt is not the same as unbelief, but it can lead to unbelief. Doubt is not the opposite of faith but can actually lead to a deeper faith. In Psalm 73, Asaph shows us to doubt toward God in a way that deepens our faith in Him.

Jimmy Davis – Psalm 32 reminds us that gladness waits for us on the other side of our guilt, and it is the truest and sweetest of all gladness, the gladness that is only found in the embrace of God’s forgiving love. Are we willing to walk the path of repentant faith that takes us from guilt to gladness?
