Jimmy Davis – Is our view of Jesus too small, too simplistic? And how does the way we see Him change the way we see ourselves and our situation?

This week our guest preacher, Nick Batzig, reminded us that this world (in its current state) is not our home. We long for a new city; whether we realize it or not, we long for Jesus.

Eric Parker – What does it look like to love God with everything?

Jimmy Davis – Jesus says that unless we know what the Bible teaches about “the God of the living” and resurrection life, we will wander aimlessly with no real hope for living life right now.

Jimmy Davis – Jesus has come to collect that which belongs to and bears the image of God. Will we pay up?

Jimmy Davis – The parable of the vineyard tells the whole Story of God's People. But we will we listen? How will we respond when we realize that Jesus is talking about us?

Jimmy Davis – The mask has become a symbol of our various convictions about how to proceed through this pandemic. But is there a greater conviction on which we can all agree?

Jimmy Davis – Why should you trust Jesus, the Prophet, Priest, and King, to inspect the fruit of your life and upset the tables in your temple?

Jimmy Davis – No, seriously. . . What do you want Jesus to do for you?

Jimmy Davis – What is the connection between our desire to be served rather than serve and the stunning truth that Jesus came not to be served but to serve?

Jimmy Davis - Many who think they have enough will find they don’t and will walk away empty, but many who know they are empty and believe that Jesus is enough, will find more than enough in Him and whatever He chooses to give them.

Jimmy Davis – When Paul was “utterly burdened beyond his strength” what did he know about the resurrection that convinced him he could rely on the God who raised Jesus from the dead?

Jimmy Davis – This Holy Week let's journey with Jesus to the cross, considering the burdens He carried and the binding that constricted Him. Perhaps our burdens and binding will give us even a small taste of what He experienced on our behalf.

Jimmy Davis – The God who created and redeemed you is the Guard who watches over you. Look to Him and cry, "Help!"

Tim Tinsley – Those who love God have all things working for good – all things – because God is powerful, personal, and loving.

Jimmy Davis – The Kingdom of God is for those who can't. King Jesus says that only those who bring their nothing can receive His everything.

Jimmy Davis – The very heart of marriage is to bear the triune God's image and demonstrate His oneness, but our hardness of heart threatens that oneness driving us to the Husband who laid down his life for his bride.

Eric Parker – How serious is God about our sin?

Jimmy Davis – We were created to be great, yet we pursue greatness on our own terms to our ruin. Jesus demonstrates that the way back to greatness is through humility – the cross before the crown.

Jimmy Davis – As sure as it is impossible to do life without breathing, so it is impossible to follow Jesus without praying.

Eric Parker – God has a plan for his world, and it affects your life.

Jimmy Davis – When Jesus touches our eyes by teaching us who He is, then we will see everything clearly: Jesus, ourselves, and our purpose for being here. Our stories are to mirror His Story. Like Jesus, we submit our wills to the Father as we suffer to serve the people He gives us.

Jimmy Davis – Having eyes do you not see? We all need to see Jesus more clearly. We all need Jesus to touch our eyes by teaching us about His suffering, His death, and His resurrection. Only then we will see everything clearly.
