Our brief lives find meaning when they are rooted in the mercy of the everlasting God.

In the darkest depths, God’s people learn to lament without giving up hope in the risen Christ.

From sea to sea, Christ reigns as the promised King, bringing justice, blessing, and eternal praise to God.

In this dry and weary world, only God’s steadfast love can satisfy our hearts and fuel our praise.

Even in bitter trouble, God’s people remember His faithfulness and proclaim His goodness from generation to generation.

When God feels distant, the downcast soul learns to lament honestly, remember His goodness, and hope until praise returns.

True forgiveness brings sinners out of hiding, restores them to God, and fills them with the joy of His mercy.

Though the world rages, Jesus reigns, and all who take refuge in Him are blessed.

Those who take refuge in Christ and delight in God’s Word are blessed, fruitful, and kept by God.

Jesus prays for the people given to him, that they may be protected in the world and brought at last to behold his glory.

Jesus asks to be glorified through the cross and return to the Father, so that sinners may know the only true God and have eternal life.

Part 11 of 11: We conclude by connecting God’s attributes and the Trinity to salvation, showing how the Triune God brings us to know and enjoy Him.

The Spirit does not draw attention to himself, but makes the triune God present to Christ’s people and shines a holy spotlight on Jesus.

Jesus abides in his people through his Word, and his people abide in him by obeying it, bearing fruit to the Father’s glory.

How can sinners draw near to a holy God? Only through the perfect sacrifice God himself provides, by whose blood we are accepted in his presence.

The King we need is not the one we would expect: Jesus is glorified by dying, and through his cross brings life to the world.

The way to God is not a path we find, but the Savior who goes by the cross to the Father and brings his people home.
