I can only imagine how challenging it was for Elisha to take on the mantle and ministry of Elijah but he did. 2 Kings 2:14: “Then Elisha took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, ‘Where is the LORD God of Elijah?’ And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.” May God help to today to take on that mantle...

I love this promise from Jesus in Luke 11:9–10: “And I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

How peaceful are you today? Do you need peace? Jesus said this in John 16:33 - “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

We... have... overcome! That's the truth of 1 John 5:4–5 - “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

As we wrap up the week, enjoy a reading of Psalm 62 today. My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.

Thank God for the grace and peace He has given to us. Let's take that incredible gift and give it to others today! Galatians 1:3: “Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,”

2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” Let's share that treasure to others today!

How will we glorify our God today? Think about it... and look for those opportunties. Make that your mission today! 1 Corinthians 6:19–20: “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Here's our mission today... 2 Corinthians 1:3–4: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” Take the comfort God has given you and pass it on to someone else today.

Enjoy a reading of Psalm 57 today. Whatever you're facing... whatever the struggle is... this Psalm will bring encouragment and comfort to you. "Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by." (verse 1)

One of the battles we face every day is in our mind. 2 Corinthians 10:4–5 says this; “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

We know about God's "Amazing" grace, but today let's talk about His sufficient grace. 2 Corinthians 12:9: “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Isaiah 46:4: “Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Growing older is certainly full of challenges but also full of opportunties and blessings. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Isaiah 64:4 - “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.” Are you in the waiting? I know it can be tough but let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Enjoy a reading from Psalm 51. It's such a powerful word as David confesses his sin before God. One of the verses I pray every morning before my feet hit the floor, is verse 10 - "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Have a blessed day and weekend!

Galatians 5:13-15 says this... "For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!" On this Fourth of July day... let's...

Psalm 147:3–4: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.” Indeed our God is astronomical in His power to create and power to heal. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.
