The Friends of Ravnica find they've got friends in all kinds of places as their multiverse journey continues, all the while haunted by a draconic shadow that taints the memories of places they've been and twists the futures that might be. Maraxus gets blown off course, Jerrick has an eldrazi epiphany, and Gabriel asks for permission.

Our heroes hear of a horrible murder, and they may know the victim. What begins as a simple investigation quickly spirals out of control. Brettville hitches a ride, Loren challenges his faith, and Butler babysits.

Our heroes begin their first real month of downtime, as Marty explains the dynamics of the temporal predicament they've found themselves in; a predicament he may not entirely understand himself.  Gabriel defuses a tense geopolitical argument behind closed doors, Vali runs for office, and Louis participates in a dance routine.

The Misfortunates deal with the fallout of Anna's new transformation, and learn some troubling information about the dowager duchess they seek from alexia redstream, newly risen vampire debutante. Butler finds himself on the hot seat, Loren comes home to an intervention, and Brettville plugs a hole.

The party must fight for their lives, as time dilation once again rears its ugly head. Feather the angel commander has been transported to the world of Eldraine, chosen as some sort of kingly successor by the sword Embercleave, which somehow found itself in her possession as she won a duel against another rival. Our heroes take their first foray into the vast multiverse with their perfected portal, hot on the heels of the missing angel known as Feather- who vanished into the ether after winning a duel with another hotshot angel using a magic sword, known as Embercleave. Vali makes a promise, Alpha ages 40 years, and Gabriel comes THIS close to revenge.

Words come to blows as the enraged Lord Rakdos is moved to attack FORC after being egged on by his council of cohorts. What does Massacre Girl have against our heroes? What is she hiding? Will our heroes survive the onslaught of sheer starpower? Alpha finally lets go, Johnny Dackson makes his triumphant return (and an important discovery), and Vali says goodbye for the second time.

The long night continues into day as the group leaves Alexia Redstream's soiree in Davriel Kane's magical self-driving stagecoach. Our heroes arrive at the lavish gala of Alexia Redstream, as the "new money" merchant queen holds a debutante ball at her misty manor outside Havengul. Anna needs information that Alexia has to save her sister from a fate worse than death, and Butler has a message he needs to deliver on behalf of a new contact. But all may not be as it appears at the manor, doubly so for the guests of honor... Lor...

Having conspired with Blim the demon comedian to draw Rakdos out of hiding, our heroes are backstage at the undercity Theater Extraordinaire to put on a show so spectacular that Lord Rakdos himself will have to make an appearance. And then they can get the answers they so richly deserve. Vali finds a new calling in life, Alpha stays on the sidelines, and Maraxus was born in the dark, molded by it.

The first 28 minutes or so of this episode are ROUGH because I didn't realize my mic was unplugged ;_; I am forever plagued by these issue. Our heroes have arrived at a portion of the sea bordered by a curtain, like a sea-level aurora borealis. And whose waves have been transmuted into quicksilver.
