In his inauguration speech, Jude calls for forgiveness and unity as they begin the process of rebuilding New America. 

Jude wins a special election for President held with paper ballots. Now that he is in office, his first job is clear: how can he disentangle President Connor’s seizure of financial control through ADAMS? 

President Connor announces he is seizing control of all financial transactions through ADAMS, effectively locking out any opposition. While he attempts to justify his actions, a shot rings out, assassinating him as he spoke. A second shot takes out General Alvarado, and the crowd scrambles for cover.

After a successful campaign that not only defeated the NADF but restored the governors and legislatures in all 10 Regions, the Corporate Congress makes a surprise move and rescinds President Connor’s war powers and recalls the Senate. What will be waiting for them in Washington? 

After the Appalachia Governor’s son is tortured, Jude calls for calm and focus. They are planning a resistance unlike any other: overwhelming force, divide and conquer, and zero body count. Can it really be done? 

At a meeting of Sparrow leadership, Jude reassures Janie and other Senators that they are not just rolling over; they are planning and strategizing for a resistance movement the President won’t see coming.

Just as the NADF prepares to rain down hell on Nashville and the Appalachia Region, Jude negotiates a peace: he will convince the remaining Regions to allow the Patriot Administrations in if the President agrees to end the war and release Jude. 

Atlanta falls as the NADF defeats the Gulf States of America Region and President Connor installs his Patriot Administration. Many NADF troops begin to see through the propaganda, and Jude will not be in detention much longer.

General Alvarado launches an assault on the Appalachia Region, but the NADF is defeated when the neighboring Gulf States Region lends air support. The NADF prepares to return with much more firepower.

President Connor decides to take over the Regional Governments and install puppet governors and administrations that are loyal to him. His first target is New England, and NADF troops land in Manhattan just as RDF troops are evacuating the legislature.

President Conner has suspended the Senate and sent in the Patriot Guard to enforce his order. Jude is in custody, the Regions have declared loyalty to their governors, and New America is now at war.

Jude travels to the NADF base in Cascadia to announce his candidacy for President. General Alvarado responds with an order for NADF troops to remain loyal to Patriot candidates only, sparking a backlash among the ranks and a rift with the Regional Defense Forces. 

Desperate to save money and reduce the population, the New America Corporate Congress passes the “Family Relief Act,” which offers a million dollars to the families of the elderly and terminally ill who elect to end their lives. The Sparrows are determined to defeat the bill in the Senate.

Janie Hollins, the Sparrow Senator in Appalachia, is whisked off from an event by her new security team; the Nine aren’t taking any chances with the Patriot Guard. 

Zack Nolan narrowly escapes capture after a campaign rally where it becomes apparent the new Patriot Guard are willing to do the President’s bidding, violently if necessary.

President Connor switches to a more political strategy to fight the Sparrows: he is going to advocate for “patriots” to stand for “Safety, Stability, and Loyalty.” He has not  completely given up on violence or intimidation, however. 

Callum gives Rod Kane an idea: why not draft a Bill of Rights to kick off the new constitution? 

In a meeting of Sparrow leaders, Max lays out a plan for security, and Jude reiterates the Sparrows commitment to non-violence. 

Jude is being tortured on camera in an attempt to intimidate the Sparrows, but a group known as the Nine manage to get into the lab just in time. 

Jude faces torture and a painful death at the hands of General Alvarado, who seems to understand the effectiveness of the Sparrows and Jude’s leadership better than Jude. 

Following Zack Nolan’s lead, Jude surrenders to the NADF and is taken to a secret facility in the Texico desert. Unlike Zack, however, Jude has a tracker implanted. Can they survive long enough to be rescued?

Zara shoots Jude with a Stinger prototype to test its effectiveness and recovery time. General Alvarado steps up his campaign to identify Sparrow leaders in an attempt to “cut the head off the snake.”

Two Health and Human Service representatives go door-to-door, trying to identify former sack residents and attempting to get them to identify Sparrow leaders. 

Jude develops a non-lethal weapon called a “Stinger” to help Sparrows defend themselves. The government is losing the battle of the narrative and shifts strategies to go after the Sparrows.

A Cube Tower mysteriously topples in Los Angeles, and Sonja is tortured in a clear message from General Alvarado. The Sparrows decide it’s time to fight back.
