While 1 Timothy was given as instruction to Timothy on leading the church at Ephesus, it is very good advice for us today. Join us as we take a look at chapters 4 ad 5 and what it has to say about how we live.

The word episkopos means "one who watches over." It symbolizes duty and responsibility. The call of a father is not merely to lead a family, but to also faithfully watch over what God has entrusted to him. In 1 Timothy 3–4, we read that true leadership begins with character, and it is proven in everyday life. Fathers, the people God has entrusted to you is your greatest calling. 

When Paul told Timothy to remove the false teachers from the church he also directed the church to focus on what is central to our faith. Join us as we look at the book of 1 Timothy and Paul’s instruction for Christ followers.

Mother's Day - 2026

In this final chapter of first Thessalonians, Paul gives some last thoughts and direction to the people of this church. He has just talked about the end times and second coming of Christ.

This week we’re picking up in chapter 4 verse nine. And Paul starts out this part of the chapter talking about brotherly love. And he tells them that they’re doing a great job at this because they’re not only extending Christ like love to the people in their church but also to the entire region of Macedonia.
