Have you made an agreement with your disappointment? It may be causing you to miss what God is doing around you.

Psalm 24 is this beautiful invitation to go to the deep places with God. But, it might require us to wake up and to get rid of some of the things that might be hindering the deeper place.

Have you seen it? Has Jesus arrived in your daily life to delight you with something He knows you deeply love? What is His purpose? Let's talk about it this week.

Just when we need to hear from Him, He is so faithful to speak. Are we creating the space we need to? Are we paying attention to what is going on in our hearts?

Often we write things off as if they are just ordinary emotions. But, sometimes, they are legitimate schemes of the enemy that we have all the arsenal we need to combat.

Some days, stopping to look back at all the pieces and parts God had to move to get you to a defining moment in your life can take your breath away. It's a wonderful thought to begin our week with.

Sometimes you just need to sit at the table as a family and have a conversation about the hard things. But, the true things. This is one of those moments. This isn't a typical Monday Musing. It really is a lesson. But, it follows the theme that God has led me on for this past month. So, take it in small pieces if you need to. Listen to it in podcast form if you need to. Has your life recently been turned upside down by events? The new parent? The new marriage? The job you just left? The job you just took? The house you just bought? The event is good, but you're feeling out of sorts. Why am I not as happy as I thought I would be? What is going on? You could be in organic shock.

Open doors can be a dangerous thing for the enemy. Let's talk about what that looks like in our everyday life.

What would that look like? How could it happen? What do we do?

It seems the world is impacting the church more than the church is impacting the world. Do you have too much of the world in you?

Because profane talk has become so common place in society, has it become common place in us? Some thoughts on the words of our mouth this week.

Some days we just need to be reminded of how good God is. There is nothing good in this life that hasn’t come from Him. If we don’t believe in His goodness, we need to see if our heart has believed a lie about Him somewhere. Then repent, and ask Him to open our eyes to His love.

Roots matter. Roots are what get trees through the storms. So are ours. How are yours?

I think every woman's heart will be encouraged by this Mother's Day Musing.

Sometimes, God allows us moments to realize that what seemed like weeds really is Him working in a much larger garden than our singular circumstances. It’s good to know He is a really big God!

What kind of question is that for a lame man? Surely, Jesus was joking. But what if He asked us that question today?

I think today's word is going to really encourage you!

On this Holy Week, I wanted to share with you the story that is The Legend of the Dogwood. The proposed tree on which Jesus was crucified. I heard this when I was a little girl and it has never left me. I have a feeling it won't ever leave you.

Everyone loves a good story. We remember them. Share them. Put ourselves in them. This week‘s Monday Musing talks about how sharing stories can be a powerful tool of impact in someone’s life.

In a world that can crush our hearts with weariness, today, let's be reminded of what Jesus really offers us.

Often we think there is no real loss for our hearts when we no longer enjoy a Sunday experience with a local church and a body of believers. But we may not realize that God has great intent when we come together, and the necessity of it even more as we get closer to His return.

God is not able to be put in a box. He moves beyond denominations and even beyond our desires. Are we willing to miss Him just to stay comfortable?

We should never forget, no matter how dark it may seem right now, with Jesus, there is always a little bit of morning outside.
