Mom of the Hard Kid

Parenting is hard. Parenting a hard kid is harder. To the mom who said, "I can't do this anymore" come be in our circle. We parents are "in the know" and there are many of us.

When you are the parent of a child who lies the thought of a DCFS or a CPS visit is always floating around the back of your head. If, or when, they do stop by they will likely be just as clueless as most of the people you encounter when it comes to severe RAD and other disorders.

Due to realities - she holds all the power. One lie will take me down - no matter what I want, or if I have truth on my side.

Being in the thick of attachment issues can really make the smallest things large. When you are a parent that needs help it can be very frustrating that the professionals you go to have no idea how to grasp your situation. Here is one, or more, things I think professionals miss in regards to attachment.
