Sermon Updated 11.5.25 :: A teacher of the Law is a good thing, but the law can be both abused and used legitimately. Paul shows here the difference between a righteous person and a wicked person, and condemns a list of sins that he directly pulls from the Law of Moses.

Sermon Updated 10.29.25 :: It is so important to keep the main things the main things. Paul left Timothy in Ephesus in order to straighten out some who had deviated from genuine faith. Are we focused more on things that are out of our control than what is actually in our control on a daily basis?

The story began in a very dark manner, but the ending is a wonderful account of a righteous marriage that made a baby who was the Grandfather of King David. In this message learn about where true happiness lies in the life of Yahweh's servants.

Here we see Naomi learning of Boaz for the first time, that is, after she had forgotten him because of her bitterness. We see Ruth being "coached" by Naomi to approach Boaz as he is lying down at the threshing floor, a place women usually did not come to.

Here we are introduced to a very strong, wealthy, holy, noble man named Boaz. Boaz is Yahweh's means to deliver Ruth (and Naomi) from the poverty they have been experiencing for many years.

Sermon Update 8.2021. One way Yeshua teaches we practice our righteousness is by not eating. When is the last time you fasted? This lesson also looks at how we harmonize Yeshua's command to "not store up treasures upon the earth" with all the examples of saints owning earthly possessions. How do we obtain treasure in heaven? How can our heart be in heaven?

Usually, when a presbyterian believer (among others) speaks to an "immersionist" about sprinkling in Scripture, the listener immediately "turns him off." Why? Because the immersionist doesn't believe sprinkling to be a proper mode. However, sprinkling is taught in Scripture. Listen to learn more.

How were you baptized? If you know what exactly the English word baptism means then you would know that there really is only one way to be baptized in water. Listen to learn why those in Christendom who sprinkle or pour water on people are really not baptizing them.

When professing Christians hear that someone believes baptism is part of the plan of salvation a host of objection arise. Scriptures like Acts 2:38 and 1 Peter 3:20-21 are usually thrown "under the water" and statements are made which make baptism really mean nothing.

Paul mentions the importance of baptism in his letters to the Romans and Galatians. We often miss the awesome implications about baptism by not considering the surrounding context of each of these passages.

What do you know about the wave sheaf of Leviticus 23:9-11? To most people it may not make a difference, but understanding the wave sheaf sheds much knowledge of understanding the timing of Yeshua's resurrection and presentation before the heavenly Father.

People have asked me over the years how we keep the Passover. This lesson is designed and intended to go through the ordinances of keeping Passover in simplicity. It is a short, verse by verse study through Exodus chapters eleven and twelve.

Before Yeshua was betrayed He attended a meal with His disciples. Many people today, theologians included believe that it was at this meal that Yeshua replaced the Passover with what is called in Scripture the Lord's Supper.

All through the book of Acts we see exactly how the apostles of our Messiah preached the good news to other people. Their preaching included teaching others about the water baptism commanded by our Messiah.

We sometimes have a difficult time believing what the Bible says about certain subjects or topics. This happens often when it comes to baptism as commanded by the Messiah in Matthew 28:18-20. People downplay baptism saying things like it is just an outward show and nothing else.

There are various baptisms mentioned throughout the Tanak (Old Testament), but there is one unique baptism that was prophesied about by the prophet Zechariah. The Priests and Levites during the days of Yeshua knew of this prophecy.

Baptism in water seems like a very simple step to take, and it is in some sense. Its significance though far outweighs the simplicity of its step. This is not because of what man says, but because of what Yahweh has said to man through His inspired Word.

What does the Bible say about demonic possession? Is it real? Can it really happen to people? This sermon takes a look at the Gospel according to Luke to discern just a little about how demons/fallen angels can possess human beings.

The Dragon (Satan) is furious with those who keep the commandments of Yahweh and have the testimony of Yeshua. If he is agree with Yahweh's children then we need to know how to battle with him when he attacks.

What does it mean to love the world? What doesn't it mean? This message takes a look at balancing our lives with the current culture while at the same time never compromising the commandments of Yahweh.

We can know that we have eternal life if we love the brothers and sisters in Yahweh. Our true family are those that do the Father's will (law, instructions) and we should love them with much more than our words.
