Judge not, lest ye be judged. That seems to be the favorite verse of both believers and non-believers. What does it mean though? Listen to learn how that we should make moral judgments in life, but not do so in a judgmental, critical, self righteous way. Brother Ron Myers opens this lesson with a song he wrote called "Love."

Earthly leaders often seek to shove around authority. In doing so, we feel that we are showing ourselves as boss. But is this the Biblical model? What are the Scriptural qualities of righteous leaders? The answer may sound backwards, but we must remember that Yahweh knows what is best in all things, including teaching us how we ought to lead.

According to this verse (and many others) the believer will experience trials and troubles in life. How do we react to these things? Are we constantly complaining? Do we lose faith during hard times? Or, do we recognize that the trying of our faith produces endurance?

When Yeshua uttered the words "love your enemies" (as recorded by Luke), what particular enemies did he have in mind? This lesson also covers the need to always remember that every one of us was an enemy of Yahweh when He loved us. This will aid in helping us to love others who are unbelieving, ungrateful, and do not love us back.

James 1:1 is covered. The author and the audience. The 12 tribes of Israel, scattered abroad, are the recipients of this letter. Something usually glanced over by most readers of the New Testament.

The hungry (like the poor) are spiritually hungry. They hunger for righteousness. Both the righteousness only found in the Messiah, and the righteousness that they do in imitation of the Savior.

If anyone had something to boast about (credential wise) it was Paul. But, this apostle considered himself the chief of sinners and not yet mature as he ought to be. We must do the same. The first step to getting well is to admit that we are sick and accept the medicine of the Gospel of Christ.

Yeshua spends all night praying to Yahweh and then chooses 12 apostles. After this he comes down from the mountain and teaches and heals. In this message I cover prayer in light of Yahweh's sovereignty as well as Yahweh choosing ordinary people for extraordinary work.

Sometimes, Romans 14 is used in an attempt to say that the dietary laws of Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 have been abolished. This lesson takes the time to walk through the entire chapter and explain that such is not the case.

After Yeshua taught in the synagogue on the Sabbath, he decided that a man with a paralyzed hand needed to be healed. The Jewish leaders didn't like this and sought to accuse and even kill Yeshua. Did Yeshua break the Sabbath here? Was Yeshua trying to get people to see that the Sabbath wasn't all that important?

Before healing diseases, before casting out demons, before walking on water, you would always finding Yeshua doing something of utmost importance: teaching. We should enjoy solid, Scriptural teaching, both in listening to it, and in giving it in any capacity.

The Pharisees were spying on Yeshua and His disciples while they went through some grain fields on the second chief sabbath. The Pharisees then accused them of doing something unlawful. Was it unlawful? Was what David did unlawful?

Before moving into and explaining Luke 6:1-5 we must consider the peculiar reading Luke gives to us in verse 1. What kind of Sabbath was this? Was it just a normal Sabbath, or is there a reason the King James Version calls it "the second Sabbath after the first?" Listen to learn about the technical aspects of this reading.

Why didn't Yeshua's disciples fast often like John's or the Pharisees disciples? And what in the world did new garments and old garments, new wine and old wineskins have to do with this?

If we are to "do this in remembrance" of the Messiah's broken body and shed blood then there must be a time element involved. Is it just up to the individual believer? Do we do it at Easter or Christmas? Is the common practice of doing in on Sunday or every Sunday Biblical? What about Acts 20:7? Is the argument by some Messianics concerning "One of the Sabbaths" in Acts 20...

I had so much going on the week before this sermon that I did not prepare like I normally do. Instead, I covered four different thoughts (based upon Scripture) that had been running through my head all week. Hopefully, something will be gleaned as you listen.

If you want to have eternal life, you must keep the commandments. The problem is: you have not kept them and neither have I. How then are we to enter into life? Listen to learn of the medicine that is only available to those who admit that they are sick.

We can go through life always dwelling on the bad days we have, or we can instead dwell upon the many more good days and good things the Father has blessed us in and with. This lesson challenges the believer to just stop complaining and look for the positive in everything.

Psalm 19:7-11, by itself, should teach us that we need the law of Yahweh. This sermon goes through that text and then discusses all 3 uses of the law. When we remove the law, we in turn remove its 3 uses. The result is catastrophic.

Salvation, justification, is really free. It really is. No strings attached at all. We obtain it through the empty hands of faith. When sharing this Gospel, the only true one, you will encounter an objection. This lesson shares that objection and gives the Biblical response. Justification and Sanctification are both important, but they must never be confused or else the Gospel is diluted.
