I dunno man, I keep coming back to this Ibanez because it's the first fancy guitar I got back in 1989 or so. I like to do Vietnamese things with the bar. Ableton interpreted a fun accompaniment, trying to pull harmonies from this mess. Link to the post.

Here's where we've (Medicine Hat) landed this week with the line I posted yesterday. The working title of this one is Acha. Link to the post.

I posted this about a year ago initially - it's part of a new Medicine Hat tune we're recording next week. This OG version I demoed is a long way from where we landed. Link to the post.

This previous minute came up again this week as a potential new riff for one of the two new Medicine Hat tunes we're recording at the end of Jan. Can't forget about Alan Roe's guide to music on shortwave. Link to the post.

Beat practice with csound and the ep-133. There's gonna be a bunch of this over the next few weeks. Link to the post.

I wrote a simulation in csound to replicate the sound of multiple tape recorders playing at -roughly- the same time. Picture 100 tapes being started roughly 1/20th of a second apart, and drifting the slightest bit. This is from 2016 or earlier maybe. Link to the post.

Brother Robert from C'mon C'mon sent me a little snippet back in November that I completely forgot about, so I played with it for 5 minutes and put it up, ensuring it would not be forgotten. We miss Bobby! Link to the post.

The return of Car Ride Adventure from post 28. I had to see how stem separation would deal with the vocoded effect on the TE PO-35. Link to the post.

A new little study emerged tonight before Caudal Peduncle practice. This is rough - I'm taking bits from what's notated here and looping them, to get the pattern under my fingers. I'll develop this more over the week and probably fold it into my piece / study Slider Rays. Link to the post.
