Last night was the first Guitar Cult rehearsal in a while. What I wrote beforehand: We're going to pick through some of the "rhythmic cells" - the 2, 3 and 4-part interlocking patterns I have in a lot of pieces - and see if we can start a conversation on how to improvise through changes with them. Well this is the first hiccup of life for Livecoding in Thuja. My experiment using csound API's inputMessage did not work - the timing is all jacked up, but kind of interesting to refer back to later, maybe? Trying to use the UDP server next. Link to the post.

This idea keeps pulling on me - it was written in the middle of an insomnia bout one wednesday night in 2010 or so. "Tuktu Circle Idea" - a Tuktu Idea I don't think we finished. I'd like to map this line to one of the circulars, and one of the slider rays pieces. Link to the post.

I've been picking up Voice of Turkey at 13635 on this online shartwave radio. I mainly know Erkin Koray's amazing stuff from the 70s, and maybe this is more Turkish rock, but shazam isn't recognizing it. Pretty heavy though - would pass for metal with more distortion. Link to the post.
