I hope you like your content haphazard. Recording myself playing games when I can with no thought to quality, long silences, or keeping a consistent record length. Repetitive thoughts about stuff, terrible voices, and yawning when I record after everyone is asleep.

Incredibly tired nerd plays star ocean 16.11.2024

I'll see if this works. I'm very very tired. I'm not typing this. I'm doing it with my voice because I am just what go naked naked shattered. wow! this thing doesn't know how to say slang terms for tired does it? I was using the one which refers to the removal of a horse's knackers. that's the one. honestly, I'm getting more out of this speech to text then I probably did out of playing a video gam...

it's dragon quest day and I have an actual lunch break for once.

1-YEAR-OLD is home sick, so naturally we're playing katamari 12.11.2024

Soundscapes of average solo dad Saturday 09.11.2024

two swimming lessons, five buses, one set of lost keys

Trying this year's Nespresso Christmas limited editions 05.11.2024

So for clarity I do drink my coffee unadorned, which might not be ideal for these particular coffees. Peanut and Sesame: I made it to the second sip. I understand it in a way that I really don't understand it. Almond Croissant: I instantly had to spit this out. Utterly disgusting, much like the pastry they actually taste quite a bit like. Unforgettable Double Espresso: smokey. quite strong with no...

Games that are arcadey or light on stuff for me to say in detail kind of reviewed while I play bass poorly 05.11.2024

Battle Arena Toshinden 3 it's honestly a nice feeling game let down by it's art direction being at odds with the graphical styles of the early PlayStation library. By no means a true 3D fighter but it's quite fine for the nippy fast paced fighting that is done better by Bloody Roar 2. Soul Blade/Calibur did this kind of weapon based fighting much better, Bloody Roar just perfected this kind of gam...

Battle Arena Toshinden 3 04.11.2024

how long do I have until the baby wakes up again? Take a wild guess!

Dinner and conversation with a one year old 04.11.2024

Nattering over Devil's Crush Pinball 30.10.2024

i think I keep calling it Demon's Tilt which is a different game. Topics include: the nature of horror, my first ps1 games being mostly Amiga ports, pinball videogames, and people writing novels that are clearly their ttrpg campaign.

Megaman Legends and Fable rambling reviews 29.10.2024

Megaman Legends review So there are times when a game gets by on charm alone and there are times when a game gets by on its gameplay and design. Mega Man Legends is one that manages both very very well. It couples are fairly solid 3D platform map of the 1997 variety with dungeon exploration and a story, which for its time manages to pair childlike whimsy with actual relative depth. It's an example...

Master of Systems I'm shooting some things 29.10.2024

in a spaceship type chap who's flapping his wings Turns out I'm as bad at werewolf basketball as I am at real basketball so I play Fantasy Zone II instead because it's a really good game about a little flying shooty guy.

Floating through some space sims 26.10.2024

wing commander prophecy on GBA & Colony Wars both a lot of fun 😊 not sure I'm much fun on this one but I had a good time

The Fable Post Game 23.10.2024

is an exercise in tedium

The Red Star is a proper good game 21.10.2024

it really is with it's mixture of melee combat and bullet hell tendencies. really recommended if you are the other person who likes that sort of thing

Fable Anniversary Edition 19.10.2024

I mean it's a fustercluck and we mostly eat crisps that are terrible but addictive.

Much like Warsong this one takes a long time and not a lot happens 17.10.2024

so it's definitely not fire emblem or shining force or ogre battle or nobunaga's ambition or Famicom Wars or Neverwinter Nights (the original one) or heroes of the lance or Disgaea or final fantasy tactics or typing of the dead or rachet and clank or Blazblue party edition or onimusha tactics. but its definitely a videogame

it was going to be Vampire Saviour but it ended up as baby wrangling 14.10.2024

these lunchtime records are a bit trickier with children 🤣

Finishing off Megaman Legends 10.10.2024

Sudden jump in difficulty. Kind of at a 50% of Monster Hunter 4 so... Yeah, lovely game, easy game.

Hungry Final Fantasy 08.10.2024

bet you're raring to go for someone repeatedly losing their train of thought. Why must I document my decline?

Sleepy Final Fantasy 06.10.2024
