Mid-Life Crisis Task Force

Available on our YouTube page synced with the movie itself! https://www.youtube.com/@mlctaskforce382

An unnecessary and likely unwanted made-for-TV sequel to Roman Polanski's classic film. Stars Patti Duke, Ruth Gordon (reprising her Oscar winning role in the original movie), Ray Milland, and Donna Mills. Slow and mighty confusing.

HAP & Nate went to their local Alamo Drafthouse and watched Neil Breen's newest magnum opus, Dire Duplicity. It's a disjointed mess (as expected) and I'm afraid our review isn't very coherent either.

Chris & Nate watch, react to, and make fun of an entirely predicable Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew crossover. Stay tuned for part 2!

Chris & Nate revisit another Hardy Boys / Nancy Drew crossover from 1977. Pretty generic '70's TV. Keep an eye out for Casey Kasem in a guest role!

In a terrible mishmash of Mad Max and Porky's, Rowdy Roddy Piper, one of the last fertile men on Earth, must rescue, then impregnate, a group of women being held captive by frog people. Sounds a lot more exciting than it actually is.

A rather confusing musical starring Olivia Newton-John, Gene Kelly (in his last movie appearance) and Michael Beck (the guy from The Warriors). Features a great soundtrack from ONJ and ELO.

Come listen to us watch this confusing mess of a kung-fu film from late '70's.

Do you enjoy movies that leave you feeling confused and befuddled? Boy, do we have a film for you! Death Dimension stars Jim Kelly, George Lazenby, and the guy who played Oddjob in Goldfinger. What little plot it possesses is just a flimsy excuse for fight scenes.

We watch a very low budget and somewhat incoherent film from 1979 called Psychotronic Man that's about an alcoholic barber who develops psychic powers for reasons we're not too clear on and the chaos that results. A bad, but thoroughly entertaining film.

The week after Chuck Norris passed, we watched one of his movies: Silent Rage from 1982. It wasn't very good. Unfortunately, audio issues cropped up during our discussion, which made the recording unusable. However, our commentary track was fine, so we're putting that up for your listening pleasure. I was unable to verify this synced properly with the movie, so it might require some fiddli...

An extremely sweaty and fight filled rip off of Terminator with bits of Bladerunner, The Warriors, and Mad Max thrown in for good measure. Stars Billy Blanks (of Tae Bo fame) and Bolo Yeung. If you're Gen X, you probably saw this on the shelf in the video store in the mid '90's.

Here' s us making fun of Venom! Watch on: Prime Tubi

No, not that Venom! This Venom stars Oliver Reed, Klaus Kinski, and Sterling Hayden. It has nothing to do with symbiotes , but is instead a hostage drama with the added complication of a poisonous snake loose in the building.

Come listen to us watch and make fun of Troll 2. Was the first watch for two of us.

Today we tackle one of the great cult b-movies of the last 20 odd years: Troll 2! A movie with no trolls, no actors, and some seriously over the top performances, which have to been seen to be believed. Maybe the most meme-able movie of all time. We apologize for the disjointed nature of this discussion. There are two reasons for this: 1) the movie we're discussing is Troll 2 and 2) our video...

Our first podcast of 2026 is a rip off of The Defiant One's set in the Philippines staring Pam Grier and Sid Haig. An underwhelming '70's exploitation film.

This movie doesn’t make a goddamn lick of sense! It’s about a maniac killing people dressed as Santa Claus on the streets in London. People continue to dress as Santa Claus/Father Christmas regardless, giving him plenty of victims to choose from. Went through three directors and a script rewrite and it shows! Stars no one you’ve heard of, although Caroline Munro does appear in one scene. No commen...

A pretty dumb, yet fast paced and entertaining "action" film from the late '80's. From the director that brought you Parole Violators and starring no one you've ever heard of. This one is a doozy, folks!

What happens when you watch a "scary" movie with a 2.7 rating on IMDB? Nothing scary, that's for sure.

For a change of pace, instead of watching a movie, we watched four short films from the 1950's. One was about IBM computers at the Roper Corporation. We learned about how to build a bomb shelter in your basement. We also learned how to make a disgusting 1950's sandwich and what to do in our leisure time. Commentary tracks for all these will be available shortly, as well as on our YouTube p...

We take on a Die Hard ripoff from the mid-90's starring Anna Nicole Smith and her boobies.

We discuss the two seminal Beatles records, Rubber Soul and Revolver, which marked a turning point in the band's sound and creativity.

One of many Italian Road Warrior rip-offs made in the mid-80's. This one has nothing going for it at all.
