ON THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE WALL 26.04.2024 1:30
It has taken a while, but I finally discovered a bunch of full-size daffodils in bloom that were on the sunny side of a stone wall and not the bunch I had been waiting to flower. Each moment that gives us something to discover in life. Support the show
ANOTHER MEMORY FROM THE PAST 25.04.2024 1:14
As a young child, my mother used to make me checkerberry tea, especially if I wasn’t feeling well. I used to love to pick the tasty berries that grew near our house. We have checkerberries growing on the mountain, and love comes flooding back when I see them. Support the show
WINTER REPAIRS 24.04.2024 1:21
It looks like we are not going to be hit by another major snowstorm. It is time to start repairing the land for the summer. My son used our tractor to grade and smooth the parking lot at the Center. There is always something to repair in life all year long. Support the show
MAYFLOWERS 23.04.2024 1:20
We have found the first small mayflowers of the season. As they mature, I will pick a handful and place them in a glass of water on the windowsill in the kitchen where I can pause and take in their delicate smell. Doing this, my heart fills with gratitude for another day of reflecting love. Support the show
A GLIMMER OF HOPE 22.04.2024 1:18
On a recent visit to the Lupine Field, I spotted tiny lupine plants starting their journey to producing beautiful flowers in June. No matter what time of year, if we search with gratitude, we usually find something to provide us with a glimmer of hope. Support the show
WHERE WINTER STILL LIVES 21.04.2024 1:33
Here in the foothills of the White Mountains it is not uncommon to experience several seasons at the same time. From the Lupine Field I can see where winter still lives on. I am grateful we are free of it for the most part. Gratitude is a good way to look at all seasons of life. Support the show
THE SOUND OF PEACE 20.04.2024 1:20
I heard a bell ringing as I wandered around my yard. I paused a moment and listened as my heart filled with love. It was the bell in the Peace Garden at the Center, not far away. I thought to myself about the major need for peace bell ringers all over the world at this moment. Support the show
READY FOR PLAY OR WORK 19.04.2024 1:44
With the improving weather and loss of snow, we woke up the Cats and did a little grounds work while having fun cruising around. We can think of work as something heavy or we can play while we are getting some work done, while moving at a pace that is right and good for us. Support the show
DAY CHANGERS 18.04.2024 1:12
When I start my day with the intention of finding something I am grateful for, such as the miniature daffodils in full bloom, my heart fills with a love that helps sustain me. A moment like that could even possibly change your life for the better. Support the show
WAITING FOR FROGS' EGGS 17.04.2024 1:36
The little frog pond waits silently for the green frogs to lay their eggs that float like a cloud on the water. There is so much to discover at this time of year, and all year long. There is always something to cause my heart to sing. Support the show
FINDING THE EVIDENCE 16.04.2024 1:41
FINDING THE EVIDENCE – Nature provides a lot of evidence for us that is proof of activity taking place that we may never notice, such as a porcupine eating the bark off a tree. Life provides evidence to those that pay attention for guidance on their walk of life. Support the show
A HEART WAITING TO BE SEEN 15.04.2024 0:57
I am constantly looking for heart signs that indicate to me that I am being supported by incredible guidance from unseen forces which are there for all of us. Lately, I take far more pictures of hearts than I can use in podcasts. I am surrounded by and intend to channel that love for others. Support the show
THE RUSH IS ON 14.04.2024 1:20
The water is rushing outside my window on its way down the mountain to the ocean. It is a spring wakeup call and a reminder to all of us that it is time to manifest the goals we set during the winter, giving us a fresh view of life. Support the show
THE SIGNS ARE GROWING 13.04.2024 1:22
The signs that spring is finally taking control are growing each day from warmer weather to the small red flowers on the maple trees. We are also receiving signs that it is time to implement those winter dreams into manifested realities. Support the show
TRY, TRY, TRY AGAIN 12.04.2024 1:51
The daffodils survived the last snow again and are ready to try once more to bloom. There are people who believe in what they want to accomplish and keep trying until they finally succeed. Nature has a lot to teach us. Support the show
A BLOOMING SURPRISE 11.04.2024 1:59
As I checked on the latest recovery of the daffodils, I found two crocus blooming in an old, neglected section of the flower garden that I had not touched in a few years. My heart filled with joy, and I thought of people that are late bloomers. They are a joy to me. Support the show
LAST ROMP OF THE SEASON 10.04.2024 1:31
I saw a perfect outline of a snowshoe hair in a left-over patch of snow and I knew it was its last romp of the season before it turned to grass. I love the way Nature gives me the opportunity to romp along with the hare as changes in the season are ushered in. Support the show
THE ECLIPSE EXPERIENCE 09.04.2024 1:51
It was a crystal-clear day and we drove some two and a half hours to our son's home to view the total eclipse of the sun. We watched and took photos as best we could. It was interesting to hear the whole town cheering when totality was achieved. It was a beautiful day. Support the show
ONCE IN A LIFETIME DAY 08.04.2024 1:51
Today many of us will witness an event we have never seen before in our lifetime, a total eclipse of the sun under favorable conditions. Then again, there are events every day that we may never have experienced before. My goal is to cherish moments that may make a positive difference to others. Support the show
SPEECHLESS 07.04.2024 2:56
For the first time that I can remember, in over 6000 podcasts that I have done, I have no voice today. I thought I would share an excerpt from a recording I did several years ago which captures the sounds of the waves moving the jasper stone on Jasper Beach in Machiasport, Maine. Sometimes silence speaks volumes. Support the show
THIS TOO WILL PASS 06.04.2024 1:29
The last couple of days have been an adventure with two 12-hour power outages with only 4 hours in between. I think of all the people that often feel snowed under by life events. I just thanked my Source and sure enough the power came back as I had trusted it would. Support the show
WHO'S THE FOOL 05.04.2024 1:15
The forecast was for an intense early April snowstorm. I prepared by moving the tractor in position to clear away the piles left by the snowplow. I did not plan for the power to go off for 12 hours causing our inside temperature to drop. Who is the fool here, me or the weather? Support the show
WARNING SIGNS 04.04.2024 1:44
The morning dawned with a clear view of the mountains, and it looked like it was going to be good weather, but I could see red in the sky towards the rising sun, and the TV and internet were warning of an approaching storm. The warning signs were clear for those paying attention. Support the show
THE SEARCH FOR PEACE 03.04.2024 1:52
Many people have trouble finding peace of mind, body, and soul. They hold their worries in their heart, and they forget to relax as their mind becomes tense like their bodies. You might think of something you are grateful for and a peaceful place from your past to visit in your mind, and just breathe. Support the show
IT'S NOT EASY BEING A DAFFODIL 02.04.2024 1:39
Rarely do our daffodils have a chance to grow and flower without being beaten down by bad weather. I often tell people that it is not easy being human. We often keep our feelings secret in our hearts, so others do not try to beat us down. Support the show
