God is fully present with us through the incarnation and brings salvation into our desperation!

For our God, the “why” for Christmas is both singular and transformative: love. Might we value and consider this love and be transformed!

True joy grows invincible in the fertile soil of God’s presence—where we stand because of Jesus.

Because the true children of God have experienced peace with God through Christ, we can grow to embody the peace of Christ in the present moments of life in the presence of Christ.

In the wilderness or the promise land or anywhere in-between our only hope is the real presence of God and, In Christ, God is fully present with us.

Following Jesus can bring with it great difficulty, but with Jesus by our side there is always goodness and hope even in the struggle. So might we take courage and keep going while proclaiming the good news of Jesus.

Jesus invites us to share His heart, His prayer, and His mission in a world where the need for Him is abundant but those on mission are few.

The Church that Jesus died for is a supernatural and wondrous thing (warts and all) and it is worthy of our wholistic presence and intentional investment.

Jesus’ earthly ministry is marked by spiritual and physical healing experienced by grace through faith. And in these moments Jesus is either received or rejected, but He is never ignored.

Jesus enters into death, despair, and doubt with resurrection, restoration, and re-storied reality. And—hear this today—He is still in the business of doing the exact same thing!

When we fail to know what time it is in life, we will give ourselves over the things that are not congruent with the way of Jesus. Or maybe they are congruent but the way we show up for these opportunities is out of step with the way of Jesus.

Jesus can save anybody and those who follow Him have this is common: they know they need Him.

Because Jesus is God, He can bring healing to the whole person. Not just healing the mind and body, but foremost, healing to the human soul.

Storms within and powers of evil are no match for the love of Jesus, but not everyone chooses the Kingdom.

When storms come in this life, take courage dear heart, not only is Jesus greater than the storm but He is also with you in the storm.

The cost of following Jesus will almost certainly be more than you think it is, but the return on that investment will be exponentially more than you could ever ask or imagine!

Those transformed by Jesus sometimes display commendable faith. But all the more important than the levels of their faith, is the Object of their faith. All sorts of people are changed in the gospels, but the Change Agent never changes! It’s always Jesus!

The Kingdom of God is experienced when the real Jesus meets real people in real circumstances with real transformation!

Might the fullness of our days bring a generational legacy of people walking with Jesus! This is a worthy investment backed by the promises and power of God and exemplified and secured by Jesus.

Because the gospel is good news for our neighbors and the nations—until Jesus comes back—we will be intentional about outward engagement!

Walking with Jesus is a group project, because worship of God finds its enduring beauty in the community of God’s people. 

Being a disciple of Jesus is a holistic apprenticeship marked by intimately abiding—mind, body, soul, and spirit—in the love of Jesus.
