Leroy mother was only 14 when she got pregnant by a married man who promised her he would leave his wife. He never had any intentions of leaving his wife. Leroy was born to a 14 year old unwed mother. Who hated the very sight of the kid. Leroy grew to be filled with hatred. Especially for women.

In this episode the neighbours can no longer turn a blind eye, they won’t turn a blind eye , but it takes more than a simple plan to rescue a woman from a man who won’t let her go.

In this episode Anna realizes suddenly that she has a friend and that that friend has seen every thing. That the things that she thought were hidden from other people, weren’t. Anna wrestles with the thought of leaving her husband. Anna wrestles with the thought that everything that’s happened is her fault.

When you are officers in a secret mission, keeping secrets even from your mom is pretty important. Jimmy and sally are deputized by their new friend. Their job is to spy on their mother and see where she is hiding her money.

In this episode we learn that Busters mother struggled with Mental illness and was in and out of the Insane asylum. In those days you could be committed for any reason that your husband wanted to. If you were depressed or had anxiety or your husbands affairs got the better of you and you went off the deep end, in you went to the local asylum for weird new ways to treat those things. This episode takes place three days before the disappearance. Mrs Flag, Busters mother, is suspicious of Anna Shane’s intentions towards her husband. His previous history with woman leave a big question mark on why he is spending so much time at the Shane cabin.

In this episode Buster realizes that the disappearance has changed him. He can’t forget those three days of looking for the children. He can’t forget that his life has never been the same. Memories sit and wait for him to see what they mean.

Anna and the family settle in and begin their new life. Anna’s buried secrets don’t allow her to get close to others. They try to fit in it is not easy.

In this episode we learn more about Anna Shane and the children before she ever came to Fox Creek. We meet Leroy her husband the man they call cobra. One morning Lee Roy is busy burying money in coffee cans out back. Anna watches him, hopeful that one day she can get away. Forever.
