When we’re pushed tour limit… and beyond… we have a choice to make.  Will we choose the path of least resistance, compromising our faith, or will we find the courage to stand?

It's one thing to stand.  But how do we handle it when fear comes into play?

As a Believer in God & Follower of Jesus, Are you Prepared to Keep Standing in the Storms of Life?

We all know the impact that Guilt can have on our life.  GUILT IMPACTS EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIFE: Emotions, Thoughts, Behavior & Physically.  By His Grace, God Provides 3 Principles of Sacrifice as a path to Forgiveness.  It’s how we RESPOND to the REALIZATION we’ve MESSED UP.

Love is the foundation for the 3 principles of sacrifice.  What do a British Prime Minister, Gandhi, a New England Minister, and Jimi Hendrix have in common?  They all get credit for: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”  God wants us to remember when it comes to Faith, Hope & Love- The greatest of these is Love.

How do you react when you feel like you’re being taken for granted?  What effect does it eventually have on the relationship?  More importantly, can anything be done to RESTORE the RELATIONSHIP?

We will only become self-controlled, to the extent that we allow God to control. Self-Control proclaims that Jesus is our Lord.

Gentleness doesn’t come naturally to us. That’s why we tell Toddlers holding a Newborn to “Be Gentle”.   You might even say it’s a ‘super’ natural characteristic of God, Himself. Jesus came to teach us about Him.

What the World Needs Now is Faithfulness.  Christians believe that if Anything can CHANGE THE WORLD… or US, it’s the PRESENCE OF GOD IN US.  Galatians 5:22,23 CEV tells us, "God’s Spirit makes us loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and self-controlled."

Our good friend Anthony Whitley delivers the message today.  We go into 1 Peter to look at those things that are Toxins in our life so that we can seek God to help us get rid of those things.  We ask ourselves the simple question... What do we crave?

What the World Needs Now is Goodness. Do you think that people can change? We hesitate because we know that real change is hard!  Are you different because of Jesus? I’m not talking about if you think differently… Is your life different?  The premise of the Gospel is that we can be changed.  As a matter of fact, the expectation of the Gospel is that we will be changed by it.

The ONE PRAYER God always seems to answer is a PRAYER for PATIENCE, right? The problem is, that He rarely answers it the way we WANT Him to answer it!

We live in a world that is desperate for peace… “It can’t get any better than this” and “I never want to leave.”  But it never lasts, does it? You can’t always be there, can you?  So, how can we live a “PEACE-FULL Life” and not just “PEACE-FILLED Moments”?  That’s what our world needs now!

Divided ~ Crazy ~ Angry ~ Evil ~ Scary ~ Messed Up Words that I’m guessing probably didn’t make your list:  Love ~ Joy ~ Peace ~ Patience ~ Kindness ~ Goodness ~ Faithfulness ~ Self-Control These are the things that God knows we CRAVE… that God knows we NEED… things only come from God

“Why is God so UNFAIR?” Is God really unfair? Actually, yes… He is!  What do you do when God doesn’t do what YOU thing He should do?  Real Life creates Real Questions that leave us searching for answers. Jesus gives us some of those answers in Matthew 20, the text for today’s message.

Do you know someone who is “Hard to Love”?  Jesus made a difference in this life by loving those ‘Hard-to-love-people' One-at-a-Time!  I don’t know about you, but if God wants me to love those people that are ‘Hard-to-Love’, then I REALLY need to LEARN more about Jesus to be able to LOVE more like Jesus so I can LOOK like Him in my life!

Yesterday's school shooting in Uvalde, Texas leaves us wondering what happened to the world we thought we lived in.  Join us in prayer as we recognize the spiritual warfare that is going on.
