This week is our special holiday bonus episode where we learn some more tidbits about the ‘95 adaptation and most importantly hear from you. Thank you so much to everyone who called or wrote in, and thank you for listening to the podcast over the last 2 years. We will catch up with you in 2022!

This week all is put right in the world as we reach the most satisfactory conclusion of our series on the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. This week we watched episode 5 of the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, aka Lydia’s Lament. All hope seems lost as the Bennet’s close ranks and prepare for ruined reputations all around. We tried out some new editing software this week, so things may sound off, but we should have the kinks worked out soon.

This week we have special guest Pamela Tarajcak joining us to discuss episode 4 of Pride and Prejudice 1995. Darcy and Elizabeth start in one place but end up in another after some reflection, and where they end up leaves us all wanting more.

This week it’s the Christmas episode of Pride and Prejudice 1995. Charlotte gets hitched, Lizzy meets Lady Catherine and Darcy’s proposal is an epic fail.

This week we move on to the second episode of Pride and Prejudice ‘95. Mr. Collins arrives on the scene, as does Mr. Wickham, and the whole town heads to a dance at Netherfield.

This week we are very excited to start the much beloved, 1995 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Elizabeth sparkles, Darcy broods handsomely, and we are swept away with all the beautiful scenery and fantastic acting.

This week we finish Wild at Heart, and find a comedy lurking in it’s center. Sailor and Lula long for the other side of the rainbow but really they just need to get out of Big Tuna. We root for the young couple, as does Glenda the good witch, but will the wicked witch be defeated? Join us as we discuss the movie that is wild at hear and weird on top.

This week we start David Lynch’s first epic road movie Wild at Heart. With fiery performances by Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern, an award worthy turn by Diane Ladd and a cast of Lynch regulars, this is one not to be missed.

This week we take a short interlude back to Twin Peaks and recap S2 ep.10 Dispute Between Brothers. This episode transitions us out of one set of stories and into another quite deftly. We go to Leland’s wake, witness an alien white light, and sort Vivian, Norma’s mother.

This week we celebrate 2 years of the podcast. We review what we have covered, contemplate some mash-ups, and do our annual candy quiz. We also divulge what we will be covering next!

This week we watched Carnival of Souls, an indie movie from 1962. It clearly influenced David Lynch and the parallels are easy to draw. We thoroughly enjoyed this eerie movie full of organ music and one spectacular location.

We are starting to get into the Halloween spirit, as we continue our series of films that influenced David Lynch. The Wicker Man is a folk horror movie…(musical?) with lots of atmosphere, that had us questioning our assumptions and allegiances.

This week we finish Sense & Sensibility 1981, and discover that this adaptation has more going for it then we had anticipated. The Dashwood girls discover new sides to themselves, and we sort Mrs. Jennings.

This week really start to warm up to the 1981 adaptation of Sense & Sensibility as we cover episodes 3-5. It’s all London, all Lucy and all drama as sense and sensibility collide.

This week we start the 1981 BBC adaptation of Sense & Sensibility. We start to warm up to this older style of television, find some new priories to explore, and start inventing a Marianne-centric drinking game.

This week we look at a film that inspired David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock’s, Rear Window. Again we throw out the format and just have a casual chat about the twists and turns of this mystery thriller.

This week we have a more casual episode. Still taking it easy we ramble about Bridget Jones’s Diary. A first time viewing for both of us we give you our first impressions of the movie. Spoiler alert, we liked it just as it was.

This week is our post summer check-in. We talk about what we’ve been up to for the last 2 months, mash-up Twin Peaks and Persuasion, and read some listener correspondence’s we’ve gotten. Plus we let you know what’s next for the podcast.

This week we wrap things up for a minute with Twin Peaks season 2 episode 9, Arbitrary Law. We bring back John Bernardy from the 25 Years Later Site, as our favorite Twin Peaks expert to get into this conclusive episode. Wrapping up the first major arc of Twin Peaks as we also wrap up our secret hiatus, we can’t wait to hear what you all thought of the first 9 episodes of season 2.

This week we know a secret that the characters don’t know in Twin Peaks S2ep8, Drive With a Dead Girl. We have summer brain but this is an episode should be watched in the dark. We are almost to the end of our season 2 run of episodes and we are going with some of the best episodes of Twin Peaks.

This week we wrap up Persuasion with chapters 22-24. We get to some of the most romantic scenes ever written and swoon along with Anne. We also take a quiz to determine which men from Persuasion we are most like. Thank you to our guest Kristen Smith!

This week we watch the climactic episode, Lonely Souls. We welcome Josh Waller back to the podcast and quiz Christian on what his fresh thoughts. We don’t want to spoil anything so make sure you watch the episode first!

This week it’s just Maya and Christian as we cover chapters 19 -21 of Persuasion. The gang all goes to a concert after a rainy encounter and later Mrs. Smith lays down some truth.

This week we dive into Twin Peaks season 2 episode 6, Demons. Everyone’s nefariousness is cranked up to 11 and last minute predictions are made, in this final episode before the big reveal.
