Matt Sop joins the M2 podcast. Matt grew up playing in Kitchener Minor Hockey then went on the play 4 years with the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL. Matt now plays with the Iowa Heartlanders ECHL and Iowa Wild AHL. He shared some awesome insights for our young players. 

Evan joins Matthew for an interview in this episode. Evan is currently an assistant coach with Blind River Beavers of the NOJHL. Evan has playing experience at the Jr. A level and the NCAA D3 level. He provides great insights towards the junior level up north as well as great advice for minor hockey players.

Trevor Hoskin joined the podcast this week. Trevor is a star forward on the Merrimack College NCAA D1 hockey team. He was also drafted 4th round 106 overall by the Calgary Flames. Trevor had a very impressive journey to get where he is today and faced lots of adversity growing up. He is a great example to our listeners of what can happen when you stick to it.

In this episode Matthew and Jordan dive in to the importance of staying relentless throughout a players hockey career. They dive into Matthews junior career filled with ups and downs along with more examples of persevering.

This week Matthew and the Ayr Centennials participated in the Eli Palfreyman Invitational pre season tournament.
