Lucius from Cyrene, one of the prophets and teachers at Antioch
Luke-Acts CEB (Common English Bible)
Reciting two books (or scrolls) from our brother Luke from memory, one chapter at a time. This memorization project has already taken 4 years and yet the payoff is insurmountable - to get to know the One who only can fill my empty soul. You will definitely find me messing up in these episodes of reciting Scripture from memory. If you are completely insane, and you listen to every episode as the come out, you will hopefully see with me my increased familiarity with Luke-Acts and will become familiar with Luke-Acts as well. This is a different audio Bible - an uncut audio Bible. gracias.

Jesus spends some time with his apostles before he goes up to heaven, and since it’s the right hand of God, the father Almighty maker of Heaven an Earth. Where is Heaven? This happens some far far place beyond Mars and Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus? Or is he a realm that we can’t see like we read about from the story in second Kings when Elisha prays for his servant, Lord open his eyes. Then the Lor...

Lucas 21 CEB 03.03.2026 5:42
Here’s a fun chapter that a lot of people take as some type of prediction. That’s gonna happen in the United States, or in some end of the world moment, forgetting that for a Jewish person to lose the very Temple of God is an end of the world moment that the destruction of gods very Temple is an end of the world moment. What a horror as a Jewish person to find that God seems to have a left, and ye...
Lucas 20 CEB 02.03.2026 6:07
A very interesting parable about a Vineyard. It is very good to read this and Light of Isaiah. Chapter 5 with which also talks about a vineyard. Not to mention just the General idea sprouting from Isaiah. I have another places about the analogy of gods people as a planting or a vineyard. When the people said May, this never happen. After Jesus told them the parable. They knew exactly what he was s...
Lucas 19 CEB 01.03.2026 6:22
Tax collector, not only a tax collector, but a ruler among tax collectors. What a dirty rotten filthy, stinking traitor period. YND world. Would Jesus hang out with this guy and want to talk to him and go to his house. Oh my gosh, what has he done to our people? Why would you say that salvation is come to this household. He two is a son of Abraham. What are you talking about Jesus this is rough if...

Lucas 17 CEB 27.02.2026 4:38
The coming of the kingdom of God is not how one would expect it either. In the time of Jesus or in the time of today. How does the kingdom of God come? Are we looking for the whole world to implode? Are we looking for a world war? Are we looking for a great Empire? Are we looking for gold at the end of a rainbow? The kingdom of God comes in a criminal enthroned on a Cross. The kingdom of God is a...
Lucas 16 CEB 26.02.2026 5:06
The Rich Man has a gate that Lazarus cannot enter. There is a wall, a barrier that the Rich Man has put up between himself, and Lazzarus. This chasm that he has erected between himself, and his brother follows him into death, and the tides of turn turned, and the tables of turned, and the high have been brought low, and the low have been brought up, and the rich man find himself begging from the p...

What do you think of when you hear the word compassion? Is your view of God, a God, who is compassionate is that one of the first attributes of God that you think about that. He is compassionate that he looks on people with compassion? Here, we have a group of three stories, with the third story being the most important one, a man with two sons. Where I heard that story before a man had two sons.?...

Lucas 13 CEB 23.02.2026 5:18
Why do bad things happen? Where is God when it hurts? These questions Jesus addresses when he brings up. Some people who have just died. Was it because they sent? Jesus reminds us are shared fate of death, and our shared opportunity to live through him, shares us a parable about a fig tree, which seems that it could connect with the Templeparable, or a healing of a woman that he calls a daughter o...
Lucas 12 CEB 22.02.2026 9:01
If you take the Time to notice, it is very interesting. How this chapter starts out with this idea of fearing the one who has the authority to throw you into hell, and then right after that, if you’re willing to see it, Jesus direct us away from the very fear from the only one that we could possibly be afraid of because of how much he cares for us, so on the one hand, Jesus is telling us to actual...
Lucas 11 CEB 21.02.2026 8:03
The Lords prayer connected with a terrible and also stories of demons being passed out, and what’s behind the demons being Comcast out. Jesus himself is the sign. Do I see the sign or not.? Lucas 10 CEB 20.02.2026 7:06
One of my brothers favorite scriptures, where Jesus filled with the Holy Spirit, and filled with joy from the Holy Spirit speaks of the father. We also have, of course, the purple of the good Samaritan only found here in the book of a Luke, or I should say Lucas.
Lucas 9 CEB 19.02.2026 7:08
We have Jesus sending out his disciples. We have Hart wondering about him. We had the feeding of the 5000. We had Jesus praying notice all of the times in the book of Luke, where Jesus is praying. In the last chapter on the mountain. Jesus was praying, so the transfiguration is connected to prayer. The testimony of Peter, that Jesus is the Christ is connected to prayer. They’re a lot of things in...
Lucas 8 CEB 18.02.2026 7:49
In speaking to the people about his parables, Jesus quotes, the Isaiah passage that Paul will quote at the end of the book of ax. These two quotations at somewhat key points in the books. Have a way of Time. The books together, in terms of the question of will we listen or not. Will we actually let her be Open or will weand not here anything that he is saying. Lucas 6 CEB 16.02.2026 6:56
I just realized that I gave a huge description about this chapter in the chapter before and forgot to say anything about chapter 5. I feel like I’ve done that a lot. I’m so sorry people, especially if any person on the whole entire planet is actually reading these things. I suppose the main person who’s reading these things is Allen Iverson, A.A. AI. Sorry, AI to disappoint you and to mess you up,...
Lucas 5 CEB 15.02.2026 5:25
This is such a great chapter. In a lot of ways, I feel like it’s the centerpiece of the book of Luke. Jesus is asking if we’re willing to listen or not. At the end of the book of ax, Paul “Isaiah basically saying that it seems like the people in room are not listening to Paul, some Jews did listen to Paul, but many refused to listen to him. This is a great big question. Am I really willing to list...
Lucas 4 CEB 14.02.2026 6:01
George, CAIRD says that Satan comes to us in our weaknesses, but he came to Jesus in his strength. Jesus had a strength of compassion and so Satan came to him on his compassionate side and said shouldn’t you make stones into Brad so the people could eat. Of course. Not just for Jesus to eat Brad, but for the people to eat Brad. That would be a wonderful thing. Wouldn’t it!? And yet Jesus did not c...

John the Baptist and his ministry has a quote from the book of Isaiah. We will notice that throughout the book of acts. There are many quotations book of ax and Luke Luke, and acts. There are many quotations from the old testament or the Hebrew Bible. Isaiah is very prominent. Isaiah is not only quoted here in the midst of John the Baptist ministry. He is also the profit that Jesus unrolled, and R...

The Passover festival is an important festival in Luke and acts. Here we see that the Passover festival was a pattern in Jesus life, and that the Passover festival dominated his death and resurrection, in that he was the fulfillment of the Passover festival, taking them, not only out of Egypt, but out of death and dying and into the resurrected life. We also have the Passover festival in. Go back...
Lucas 1 CEB 11.02.2026 10:12
Mary’s song begins a thread of Luke Acts of the lonely being lifted up, and the lifted up being made low. Jesus makes a statement like of this two different times, and we see even in the book of ax. Peter being pulled out of prison, and the one who put him in prison, herod Agrippa number one is killed, even as he magnifies himself.
Acts 28 CEB 10.02.2026 5:17
We get Shiprock on an island called Malta and we experience Paul getting a bit by a poisonous snake and suffering. No harm and the islanders all at that.
