What do you do when someone wrongs you—and you have the perfect chance to get even?  The Bible can help answer that question!  We can take a look at King Saul and David’s relationship on how to (and how not to) treat each other.  

This week we explored Moses’ final moments in Deuteronomy 34, reflecting on a life of faith and obedience that pointed others to God. We were challenged to consider the legacy we’ll leave—living for God’s glory, leading others to Jesus, and letting His light shine through us so that in the end, it’s His name that is remembered.

We all go through the wilderness of life - maybe you’re in a financial wilderness, or a relational, or spiritual one. God’s promise is to meet us in the wilderness and give us just what we need.

It’s very tempting to want to go back to the things you’re most comfortable with…especially if your back is against the wall, and you don’t see a way out. But often, this is where God shows up in the biggest and best ways.

Ever been asked to do something impossible? God does His best work when we feel the most hopeless.

Moses’ encounter with God at the burning bush challenges us to listen to God’s call, even when we feel unqualified.

We won’t really be able to have good discernment in our lives unless we know ourselves. When we can read the room when it comes to our own feelings, thoughts, personality, and more, it allows us to experience God’s best for our lives.

When it comes to reading the room with our relationships, it’s really important to have people you can trust in your life. It’s equally important to be a person that others can trust. Let’s talk about what it means to be a safe person, because the Bible is full of God’s guidance when it comes to this!

The company you keep may have the most influence over you... the words you speak, the decisions you make, and even how you view faith. The Bible has plenty to say about those people who are closest to you. 

If you are trying to follow Jesus, the world we live in is tricky. Jesus invites us on His mission to reach the world…but also to be different than the world. 

If we aren’t able to read the room when it comes to ourselves, our world, and even God, then we’re in for a life full of bad decisions and bigger regrets. Let’s explore together how to see the world how God sees it.

One thing that is true about life…storms are always coming. But at some point, the storm just becomes a story. What story are your storms going to tell? Let’s make it a good one.

We are all on a journey, and the truth is, your journey is either taking you away from God, or towards Him. Taking the journey of faith means getting on the right road.

What do we do when life gets challenging? What do we do when following Jesus gets hard? When the wheels fall off, we can either fall apart or stand firm. Paul shows us a better way to live.

Do you view time as valuable?  Do you see every moment as an opportunity? On his journey to Jerusalem, Paul has an incredible conversation with a group of people he will never see again and takes advantage of this opportunity.

The journey of faith will take you into some wild, untamed places. It can be intimidating. But you don’t go it alone. The presence of Jesus in our lives makes all the difference.

In Acts 18, Paul’s journey to Corinth brings new friendships with Aquila and Priscilla, fellow tentmakers who share his faith and mission. Despite opposition, Paul continues preaching, and many come to believe, including Crispus, a synagogue leader. In a vision, Jesus reassures Paul, saying, “Do not be afraid...for I am with you,” reminding us that we are never alone. Along the way, God places the...

One of the most amazing things about Jesus is that he sees the need for, and invites us into, rest. Not just physical rest, but rest for our weary souls. It’s almost too good to be true! In the last part of our series called Renewed, we reflect on why we need this, and how we can achieve it.

The ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt…but the system that Egypt was a part of still exists today. And if we’re not careful, we can get pulled into it without even knowing. Thankfully, Jesus offers freedom, and there is a practical way to resist.
